Co-founded as a passion project by Gusto 54 founder Janet Zuccarini and Angela Lawrence, Gusto 54’s Chief Culture Officer, Chubby’s is a celebration of their long friendship, and their love and respect for the island’s food and all the amazing Jamaican cooks they know.

Located in a circa-1890 row house re-envisioned by Partisans Architects and interior designer Wendy Haworth, Chubby’s boasts two floors of seating, two bars, and two outdoor patios. Nuestra experiencia en Raphael Peruvian Cuisine fue simplemente espectacular. Desde el momento en que entramos hasta el último bocado, cada aspecto de nuestra visita fue una celebración de la cocina peruana auténtica y deliciosa. Para empezar, el Mahi Mahi Tiradito fue una elección brillante. La frescura del pescado se combinaba perfectamente con la salsa, creando una explosión de sabores en cada bocado. La presentación era una obra de arte en sí misma, con finas láminas de pescado dispuestas de manera elegante en el plato. Los Anticuchos, esas brochetas de carne marinada y asada, fueron un verdadero placer para el paladar. La marinada aportaba un sabor delicioso a la carne, acompañados papas con chimichurri, brussel sprouts y una salsa espectacular! Los anticuchos me hicieron sentir como si me hubiese teletransportado a Lima! El Pulpo al Grill es un plato que requiere habilidad para lograr la textura perfecta, y en Raphael lo han dominado. El pulpo estaba tierno, el Ink Risotto estaba irresistible. También probamos el Cochinillo, un clásico de la cocina peruana. La carne jugosa y la combinación de especias en el carapulcra lo convierten en un plato verdaderamente memorable. En resumen, nuestra elección de platos en Raphael Peruvian Cuisine fue excelente. Cada bocado fue una experiencia sensorial que superó nuestras expectativas. Desde la frescura de los ingredientes hasta la habilidad en la preparación. Definitivamente 100% recomendado! A la próxima vamos a probar el Pulpo al Olivo y el Lomo Saltado!

Mi primera vez en este lugar, la comida riquísima, bello lugar! La primera chica que nos atendió muy amable luego la cambiaron y ella era un poco ruda, pero aún así no deje que eso arruinara mi día
