Mi esposo y yo fuimos por primera vez y quedamos encantados. Se que iremos muchas veces más. El ambiente y la decoración muy fresca, agradable y bonita. Excelente atención muy amables y nos dieron muy buenas recomendaciones. Y ni hablar de la comida exquisita! Pedimos Basil Cream Mussels y Jumbo Shrimp Shumai como entrada para luego degustar los Maki Lava y bite me. Yo pedí un blueberry mojito, soy amante de los mojitos y este estuvo divino. En términos generales quedamos completamente satisfechos hasta ahora de los mejores restaurantes de comida asiática que conocemos.

The concept of The Desi Accent reflects the sentiments of Desi (people of Indian subcontinent) and their diaspora derived from the Ancient Sanskrit (deśá) meaning Land or Country. Our team aims to share the 4,500 years old culture through a culinary experience deeply rooted in India’s heritage.

With a rich heritage, the history of Indian cuisine is as old as our civilization. The Indian dining etiquette is built on traditions. Behind almost every tradition are centuries of invasions, conquests, religious beliefs, political changes and social customs.

Our culinary team’s goal is to transform Indian spices and ingredients to memorable meals and authentic experiences. Indian cuisine is reflective of the historic eras. Our menu is reflective of a unique blend of vibrant colors and flavors with regional inspired recipes passed on from one generation to another.

La comida, no con mucho sabor. Pedí los “waffles” con pollo. Los waffles estaban en su punto, esponjosos por dentro y crujientes ligeramente por fuera. Ahora el pollo, sin gusto, o un sabor que le diera el toque para acompañar los waffles. En conclusión, la comida estuvo pasable. El ambiente excelente, el espacio abierto y la luz que entra por las ventanas le dan un aire chic al lugar. Está en lo que pienso es el lobby o parte del lobby del hotel. La decoración esta simple, pero de acuerdo al ambiente y lugar. El servicio: MALO! La chica que me atendió simplemente no tiene vocación. Entiendo que todos tenemos nuestros días, pero al final creo que la chica es así, pues la chica que termino atendiéndome al escuchar mi queja, me dejo entre ver que no es la primera queja que tienen sobre la otra chica. Le dije a esta última que la otra chica debía de agradecerle a ella el que yo dejara propina. En concluido, le doy 4 estrellas pues para el lugar, ambiente y precio, la comida podría tener más sabor.

Join me, Maya Rotman-Zaid, owner of BellaRu Catering, and my staff for the 2nd season our Pana Dining Experience in our commercial kitchen in Highland Park. "Pana" is a common phrase in Venezuela and means "friend" or "buddy". Experience traditional Venezuelan cuisine in a unique environment.
New this year we are adding Patacones - a traditional plantain sandwich and an Arepa Cabimera - a Venezuelan twist on nachos.
Pana will be open for dine-in service Friday and Saturday nights from 5:30pm-9:30pm. Reservations are HIGHLY recommended as seating is limited.

El servicio excelente, la comida deliciosa y el lugar impecable. Nuestra mesera nos dio un servicio maravilloso, ellos hicieron el detalle de la vela por nuestra celebración. El especial del Cheff que fue la sopa de papa fue espectacular, sin duda la mejor sopa que he probado.

El restaurante estaba muy bien la mesera muy amable. Comimos un queso ricotta con aceite de trufa y miel con un baguette muy bueno. Luego un Salmón Crispín y un espagueti catch and Pepe q estaba chica la porción..un buen vino.
