Discover Bloomfield Hills
Bloomfield Hills is a small, upscale city in Detroit's northern suburbs. It is famously known for its Woodward Corridor, a popular location for cruising in hot rods, sports cars and some of Detroit's fanciest vehicles. The motor vehicle's rise also lead to a rise in drive-in eateries, which are still common in the area today. Bloomfield Hills is home to many upscale dining establishments, including Italian and French restaurants. More recently, many Asian and Indian immigrants have settled in the area. These new residents have opened buffet-style and casual restaurants with specialties such as butter chicken, chapati, lamb kebabs, kulfi and masali chai.
