We are not a ‘fancy pants’ establishment. Not in the least. We offer good quality, home-cooked, locally sourced (where possible) food. 90% of our menu is made on the premises. Certainly not ‘Pub Grub’ but not ‘Gastro Pub’ either. It’s good value for money. However, our standards are high, very high. Not only in the quality of the food that comes into and leaves the kitchen but also in the presentation, the delivery to the table and overall customer service. We’re definitely not ‘Silver Service’ either but all of our staff are attentive, smartly dressed and will always go that extra mile wherever they can. This is why we regularly appear in OpenTable's Top Ten Best Restaurant Lists. We are a dog friendly establishment, very dog friendly. However, please tell us at the time of booking so that we can place you in our Bar area , as opposed to our Restaurant.

Beautiful pub with the best sea view! We were staying on site and visited for an evening meal with friends. The food was excellent and, although slightly more expensive than other places, the fish portions were generous — no scrimping at all! I honestly can’t fault the food or the service. All the staff were polite and lovely, and I would 100% eat here again. We also popped in for a drink most evenings and, again, the service was lovely. There’s no standing room inside the pub if you just want to pop in for a drink, but there’s plenty of outdoor seating. As it was October, we just wrapped up warm and sat outside with our drinks, enjoying the stunning view.
