Excellent service and food. I had the filet and my husband had the burger.

We have been coming to Lake Geneva for many years. Only two years ago, we found Hunt Club Steakhouse and it soared to the top of our list for go-to restaurants from now on when we visit the area. Although Saturday night's service was a bit slow, the dishes which were served by Sarah more than made up for our impatience. It was our anniversary day and Sarah brought us an unexpected toast of sparking wine from the house. In hindsight, I wish I would have taken a photo of the star of our dinner: the tuna carpaccio. OMG. The description on the menu left us feeling that this appetizer was going to be a real treat; but until we tasted this multi-layered delight, we didn't know what we had discovered. Kudos to the chefs! Then came the Ceasar's wedge and the Hunter's onion soup with duck. They were both delicious and so worth the wait. Finally, I chose a side (truffle mac and cheese with lobster) and the main for my guy was an aged New York steak. Again, artfully prepared and totally scrumptuous. Unfortunately, all these along with our wine and beer, left no room for a dessert, but the smile Sarah served up each time she visited our table satisfied our sweet tooth. You will not be disappointed with this venue, either. It was an old mansion which was converted to this comfortable and homey setting. As soon as you walk in you feel the energy and character of your surroundings and know a great experience awaits. Before your next visit, make sure you make reservations to dine here. You're in for a memorable experience. `

We went for the fish fry. It did not disappoint! Restaurant had a great atmosphere, staff was great, food was incredible. We will definitely go back when we are in the area again.

Food outstanding. Service outstanding. Kudos to Piper, Jack, James and Adrienne, very seasoned wait staff really make you feel special. They went out their way to help me celebrate my bisrthday. The chef Stephen is top notch. I can't wait for his new dishes starting October 21, 2026.
