El The Oar es un restaurante informal situado frente al agua, en el muelle del río Patchogue, y sirve marisco y filetes deliciosos y frescos.  Los chefs preparan especialidades como camarones con coco, chuletas de 2 lomos de 36 oz. de gran calidad y quesadillas de langosta, así como almejas pequeñas y ostras Blue Point frescas del día.  Hay 2 salones comedor decorados en estilo náutico tradicional.  La pared frontal consta de puertas francesas que se abren al agua, lo que permite acceder a una zona al aire libre junto al muelle en los meses cálidos y disfrutar de vistas pintorescas al puerto deportivo durante todo el año.  El salón comedor trasero es elegante y cuenta con un panel de caoba elevado, manteles blancos y papel en las paredes con rayas marineras azules y blancas.  Además, se ofrece la posibilidad de celebrar ocasiones especiales en la sala de banquetes independiente.  El restaurante dispone de barras en el interior y al aire libre para disfrutar de noches magníficas en este establecimiento animado y divertido.

    We sat out on the back Deck and the view was so nice. Our server was the best ! we went to Wednesday night prime rib night and it couldn't have been better ! Highly recommend the restaurant and the Hugo Sprtiz!

    Another memorable dining experience last evening at our favorite restaurant. As always, the food, presentation, service and ambiance were outstanding. The zucchini flowers appetizer is the stuff of dreams. Chef Elmer is a "food magician!"

    Fantastic Italian restaurant with great views of the bay. The manger Barbara did an outstanding job of finding us a table inside, originally we booked for outside but the weather changed and we asked for inside dining. Our server Chris did a fantastic job in preparing our order my wife had the eggplant parmigiana with angel hair pasta. The portions are huge and Chris separated the meal so my wife could enjoy it. The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing, we been there several times and never been disappointed.

    We had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, as were the drinks. And the wait staff were all friendly and knowledgable, willing to guide you on recommendations and pairings. We will definitely be going back!!
