    This wasn't my first visit to Cocina de La Sirena, but it was my first date with my wife, and we both loved it! Venue is nice - small and relatively quiet, but active and at a nice corner of Cactus Alley (I remember when Manna was there years ago). Always a great craft cocktail menu - I had the carajillo, which was a step up in flavor from the usual 43+coffee. My wife's blackened cod entree was a hit and I had the tequila-brined pork chop - both very good! Lubbock has great restaurants but so many of them are large, loud venues. For a smaller and more finely crafted experience, I'd recommend La Sirena!

    5 top food all around surpassed what I considered a chain restaurant. Chicken, steak, pork all cooked perfectly. Great job in the kitchen and we appreciate you accommodating us for wife's birthday party. Thanks all.
