o ya offers a visionary tasting menu rooted in disciplined Japanese technique and expressed through bold, layered umami with a global perspective.

Our chef's tasting menu unfolds over approximately 2–3 hours. Each bite is singular and complete, yet composed within a larger progression built with rhythm, contrast, and crescendo.

Creative nigiri and sashimi anchor the experience. Unexpected global influences amplify flavor without overwhelming it. The evening resolves with a composed Western-style cooked finale.

This is not quiet ceremony.
This is energy directed toward flavor and connection.

    Chef's Tasting Menu | 2.5–3 Hours o ya was created by Chef Tim and Nancy Cushman as a love letter to Japan — an omakase-like experience rooted in refined technique, balance, and imagination. This menu is a composed progression of singular bites - each is resolved, intentional, and precise. Creative nigiri and sashimi are central, showcasing our dedication to Japanese ingredients and artistry while embracing unique, globally-inspired flavor combinations that will surprise and delight our guests. This menu changes daily and seasonally to incorporate the freshest ingredients and our evolving curiosity for our craft. The tasting menu experience is designed as a sort of performance, not simply a collection of dishes. Each course has its place in the arc—building energy, creating contrast, evoking nostalgia, surprising with new flourishes; but it’s the way they come together that stays with you.

    Esperaba mucho mas de un restaurante que cobra tanto y que tenia tanto nombre. Tenia las expectativas muy altas y al final fue bastante normal. Ningun plato me hizo WOW.

    Si buscas una experiencia inolvidable, O Ya es la opción. Platillos increíbles y una atención inmejorable. La cuenta vale bien la pena.

    As much as would like to go into details about this dining experience I can’t. I couldn’t even tell you what I ate as this food was absolutely amazing, beyond anything I’ve experienced. Yes, it’s surly expensive, but worth every penny.

    This omakase experience was worth it for a special occasion as the food was incredible and there were some creative dishes/flavors I hadn’t expected. We were also seated right at the bar where we could watch the chefs make each dish. So definitely something different and fun if you’re an adventurous eater! But it’s the most expensive omakase I’ve had. Actually, it’s the most expensive check I’ve ever had all around. So maybe it’s a bucket list item where one and done- not because I don’t want to go back, just that I can’t afford to.

    Not worth the price. Food and beverage pairing were excellent but the overall experience was poor. For $1200 (for 2) I shouldn't have to ask for more water, have a beverage pairing skipped, or have inconsistent service throughout the night. The plate presentation from the staff was terrible, half the time they just plopped the two dishes in front of us; I have food allergies and a couple of meals they switched up and had to go back to the kitchen. Ambiance was weird, the music was so random it didn't fit the vibe and the decor was quite bland. This is not "Michelin Star Worthy" as many have purported in the past, if you've ever been to one you'll know the difference. It's sad because I waited almost 6 months for this reservation but left disappointed.
