We always have a good experience when we eat at Osteria Marzano - lunch or dinner. This time was an early dinner with friends. The lasagne is a hit every time - we introduced it to one of our friends, too. I enjoyed the grilled branzino, but am not a fan of cruciferous vegetables with fish. I think that flavor tends to overwhelm the fish gentleness. And the pasta served with the fish needs MORE flavor. The fish was great, though. Olives to start are almost a reason to go on their own!
We had a lovely meal. From the tuna tartare to the short ribs. All accompanied by a wonderful bottle of wine and our very attentive waiter.
Good food. Too loud.
One of the best Italian restaurants in the area!
This place is THE hidden Italian gem in the area. The menu has got a modern flair, but uses classic ingredients which are always top quality. They don't have a lot of seats so it's pretty quiet and strikes a great balance between feeling hip and modern but also welcoming. Value-wise, portions are very generous, and the wine prices by the bottle are actually really reasonable. Love this place and for my own selfish reasons hope it doesn't get too popular!
Great pick for our Valentine's night dinner. Girlfriend loved the food, music and service. Great for couples.
Excellent food except one dish. Steak was very expensive.
Great service! Our server and the manager were awesome!
Food was very good, and has a nice wine list. The atmosphere is modern but cozy. It's a gem for the Springfield/ Kingstown area and we will be going back for dinners and happy hour outings. The father & daughter ownership team really care and it shows.
THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT THEY BROUGHT OUR DINNER OUT WITH OUR SALAD PLATES STILL WAITING TO BE CLEANED IM STILL COMING BACK THE OWNER WAS GREAT VERY GOOD FOOD
we are "regulars" and come back often for the food. It's tucked away so I'm always amazed at how busy it is - definitely good to make a reservation
3rd time here. Waitress remembered us from months ago. Attentive, courteous service and very good food. We will be back.
Osteria Marzano is always the place to have a great meal. We wish we found this restaurant years ago. Chef Marzano makes the best veal parmigiana in Northern Virginia.
Great food....great service...great ambiance!....This the best restaurant in the Springfield, Virginia area!
Best Italian restaurant in Northern Virginia. The specials are always a treat but the regular menu is also great. The pasta and sauces are fresh and delicious. The meatball appetizer is a must. Drinks and wine are good and well-priced.
Very busy but fun !
Excellent meal, service, & tiramisu w a birthday candle was brought by our waiter. Always terrific here.
Make sure to ask for a table away from the bar . The bar area tends to be very noisy . The food was good as always, did not like the increase in corkage fee. Will gladly go back again
Restaurant Week menu had many choices.
We will go back for Happy Hour
Excellent per usual !
The noise level was well past energetic and approaching drunken frat party. We love the food and the service was great but we both swear we'll never go there on a Friday night again.
Amazing taste, good value, great staff, ambiance is comfortable yet upscale. Definitely recommend.
Neighborhood gem with specials that don’t disappoint. We always enjoy our meals at OM and the service is attentive and friendly.
This was our 3rd visit to Osteria Marzano. The first was an excellent experience while the second was a mess on almost all levels. So two years later we tried it again albeit with trepidation. We are happy to report the food was uniformly good especially the mains of tuna and risotto with scallops. The restaurant's take on a caprese salad was fair but one can not expect wonderful tomatoes in January. There is an extensive wine list with a strong emphasis on reds but the selection by the glass especially for white wine is limited. There bar scene is lively with but with an even livelier noise level. Unless seated in a backroom one needed to shout to have a conversation. We will not wait two more years to return.
We celebrated our granddaughter’s 19th Birthday—
Our food and service superb—
What a terrific-super evening—very special —
We love this place! And every time we go are never disappointed. We took friends passing through town
and they were blown away with all the handmade pastas and the freshness of all our special selections.
FYI: Go off your new years diet and get the Mac and Cheese with Carmeled Bacon!
If you go at lunch - ask for Marasole to be your server!
Great food and Service. the waiter was very professional
It's really hard to get past their specials! While there are lots of delicious items on the regular menu, somehow the specials always get me. I had their tuna special and it was amazing. Complex flavors and cooked perfectly.
Highly recommend, great food and service and the wine list is wonderful.
A gem! Took our daughter for a birthday lunch.
Dinner was great as always. Excellent food and choices. Awesome wine list. We love it there
Dinner was superb. Appetizers and drinks were excellent. Service was attentive. Did not have room for dessert but certain it would have been great.
Our party was seated on the back room on a folding table (there were many tables available)
Food & service was good
Besides the waitress no body else visit our table
When we were leaving no body thank us for coming and the hostess was not at host station
The truffle menu was fantastic, especially this time of year! Everyone loved their meals, so much flavor and great sized portions.
Was a little skeptical but what a great place. Great food. Service was ok. Wine pours were our biggest disappoint. For $14 per glass, you would expect more than 5 or 6 ounces. Other than that, we would definitely come back for the food. Pizza fantastic!
Always a lovely time.
This is a really great restaurant. It is one that my wife comeback to again and again
Very busy and loud— but superb as usual—
Food delicious and service excellent !!!!!
The feast of seven fishes was amazing.
