A seamless extension of The Queenscliff Hotel, The Conservatory offers relaxed bistro dining in an elegant setting.

Hotel guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary breakfast throughout their stay, while The Conservatory also welcomes the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week.

Exceptional food and service. Our waiter Will (or Bill) was fantastic, if we had service like that everywhere, we’d all be walking around with a smile on our faces. The fish and chips were great and so too was the half chicken. This is a new gem of a place on the Bellarine and can’t recommend it highly enough. Second time visiting and even better than last time.

Great service from the staff. Friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic and very tasty drinks were served very quickly and cold. Location is very good with plenty of parking available. Fantastic range of dishes on the menu to choose from and meals are provided quickly.

The food was lovely with interesting combinations. Our family visiting from Tassie was interested that there were no Tassie Oysters but of course appreciated the Coffin Bay oysters and the finger lime was a delight.....finger lime not overpowering and shucked beautifully with the natural juices still there.Our table service was attentive,informed and quietly understated which we loved...akin to high end diningIt was our first meal at the Coneservatory. 1stly had coffee,then another day a cocktail at the bar it only leaves Mietta's and an overnight stay. Congratulations on bringing back the grandness to all at any level. It is a GEM.It was noted speaking to other patrons how beautiful the unstuffiness is.

Lovely setting & decor in the beautiful old building. Food was very tasty. Service was a little slow & ‘sporadic’ eg 2 drinks came then others some time later..& same when coffees/tea was served. Also 3 meals served about 10 before the other 2. Will definitely come another time

Food was good but service was very poor. and Drinks were being served from the Boat Bar which was busy and with only one bartender drinks to the restaurant were taking a very long time. Not sure why the bar in the restaurant wasn’t being used as there was often a staff member in it. Our waiter was very pleasant to start with but as the night went on and the busier they got he and another staff member (who I believe may have be in charge) were quite rude and very dismissive. The wait staff really let the kitchen down as the food was good. Very disappointed with our experience.

beautiful historic building and impeccably restored....lovely place to sit out on the veranda and enjoy a drink on a sunny day!
