This is one of the coolest bars in Louisville, it has a "speakeasy" theme and the drinks and service are amazing. Located in the Distil Hotel on Main St., I highly recommend this bar.

We had an enjoyable experience at 1933. A nice variety of craft cocktails, all unique and the ones we enjoyed were very tasty. We had the red velvet cake bites and they were great. We will make this a normal stop whenever in Louisville!

It started off great and as soon as Andy, our server, had a large group she definitely forgot about us and other tables! I even had to remind her I was celebrating a birthday! How sad that I had to say something in front of the the birthday person! Definitely a cool place, but server took away from that! Hope Andy learns from this. OpenTable didn’t help 1933 celebrate my husband birthday but the other reservations I made through open table were great!

We apologize that your birthday note did not make it to our ticket and we apologize if you feel this has taken away from your experience. As soon as we were made aware there as a celebration we immediately brought out a complimentary birthday treat. We often have a full room here at The 1933 Society but our servers are great at making sure everyone is well taken care of. We are sorry to see that you were not more tended to. That being said we hope you choose to return as we have many great offerings and I will leave you my email in a private note if you ever wish to return.

A very cool experience! A speakeasy worth visiting while visiting Louisville. It is a great way to start a night out in the city and a great place to get a drink before getting dinner at Repeal Steakhouse.

This is the place to go!! I have taken several clients, co-workers, and family members to the speakeasy since it’s opening and every time the 1933 Society team is more than wonderful! The drinks are consistently delicious and there is something for everyone, even non-bourbon drinkers! The team is well educated and ready to enhance an already exceptional experience. Cannot say enough about this place! Whether you are looking to unwind or impress, this is the spot!
