We visited this restaurant for our anniversary. Everything was fantastic, the food, the service, the atmosphere. They even took a photo of us and made a card for us to take.

Our new favorite! Food was wonderful. Interesting and great specialty drink list. Our service person was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Great value as prices were reasonable. I had crab and it was outstanding. They have nightly specials Tuesday through Saturday. My husband loved his Tuesday scallop special. We will definitely be back soon. Don’t skip the Parker House rolls…warm and baked on-site.

As usual dinner was excellent Aunt Lydia's meatloaf was tasty, I order it every time. My partner had the scallop special which she enjoyed with extra lemon. Our server, Dani, was accommodating even though the restaurant was very busy. Dinner came out promptly, we couldn't ask for more.

If you're looking for a restaurant in Durango, recommend 636 Main. We had a party of 4 and a reservation for outside. It was cold out and hostess went out of her way to find us a table inside. The ambiance was good, service was great, and food exceptional. Had the prime rib, it's obvious they use high end cuts of meat and know how to season and cook it to perfection. My daughter is looking at attending Fort Lewis College and our meal at 636 Main made her trip to Durango even more special.

The problem was in 636 Main's reservation process. I reserved days in advance. I wanted a reservation for NOT outside; we were seated outside--informed that "we're full" if we didn't like that table. I had called twice that same afternoon to check/confirm we would be seated inside. The first call informed me to call back during business hours, no other option; the second call, during business hours, was not picked up. So I could not make other plans for dinner BEFORE arriving there to find frustration. The restaurant made no gesture to apologize or compensate.

This is my go-to restaurant for birthdays, get-togethers and as well as casual dining. The presentation is polished, the ambience relaxing and inviting, and the food is lovely. The waitstaff is usually top-notch, service can vary from waitress to waiter, but I haven't had a bad experience here so far. The food and interior of the restaurant makes you feel like you are having an expensive fine-dining experience, however the prices are nice and don't break the bank. The desserts are wonderful, and this restaurant boasts a broad drink menu as well as special dinners on each day of the week. I love it and it's one of my favorite restaurants in Durango!

We celebrated our anniversary there and had a nice time. They even had little Happy Anniversary confetti on the table when we arrived. They also took a picture after dinner.

Always enjoy 636Main. We were outside in a heated tent so the ambiance wasn’t so great. But we were glad to be able to get a table to enjoy the delicious food. The service was great! Dani was excellent and the rest of the team was as well.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Service is generally very good here. There is a wonderful outdoor patio that is perfect in the summer and shoulder seasons. We haven't eaten out there in the winter. We are local, and it is our go-to restaurant. Our only suggestion would be to offer more vegetarian options.

The food was amazing! We sat on the patio and were a little hesitant but it was perfect. The outdoor tents are the perfect temperature. It was only loud from a large party but wasn't horribly loud. It was a great vibe and time. Highly recommend as a tourist.

Food has ALWAYS been excellent. I get either the grouper or the sesame tuna. It also has a very good happy hour. Whenever I visit Durango this restaurant is a must, in fact, on both the front end and back end of the trip! Enjoy!
