75 on Courthouse Square is located at the entrance to the Seaport District behind the Moakley Courthouse, between Seaport Boulevard and Northern Avenue, This 7,000 square-foot restaurant seats 250 and includes stunning private, state of the art event space for receptions, functions, meetings, conferences. We went to 75 on Courthouse Square for Restaurant Week. We ordered the crab cakes and clam chowder for our appetizers, the seafood stew and lamb chops for our dinner, and the peach cobbler and molten chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was very good, my only complaint about taste was that the seafood in the seafood stew was slightly overcooked. The crab cakes, clam chowder, and lamb chops were absolutely delicious, as were the desserts. In terms of proportions, the clam chowder was a good value as were the desserts. The crab cakes were small and only served with two alongside a small heap of deliciously dressed cucumbers. The dinner portions seemed small enough to be lunch portions. The amount of seafood stew given was not enough to fully satisfy and while there was enough food with the lamb chops dinner, there was very little actual meat (though the meat on the plate was delicious and cooked a perfect medium-rare as ordered). The ice creams accompanying the desserts were delicious and the chocolate molten cake was very rich. If going for restaurant week, it is a good restaurant. I have not been any other time, but if the proportions are the same, I am skeptical of the value for the price.

6 of us walk in and it seems oddly quiet for a seaport restaurant on a Friday night. We sit down and our waitress comes over to greet us and take drink orders. She comes back with the wine and takes our food order. That was basically the last we heard of her. One in our group wasn't drinking and her soda never came. Not a single water refill. Food took forever to arrive. (She was not the one to deliver it) After we ordered, a table next to us apparently had to flag her down to order food, despite getting there before us. Then she was nowhere to be found when we wanted the check. The whole experience took 2 and a half hours, despite us ordering efficiently. The food itself was hit or miss depending on the dish. Lobster was overcooked, chowder was a little bland, summer ravioli and the lamb were good. Given the awful service, the food doesn't make up for it. I won't be returning here.

We had really bad experience with this place. Service was really bad, it was so slow, even thought the restaurant was not busy at that time. It took us 40 minutes to place an order and another hour to get a food served. We asked for bread with a seafood stew, never got any, dessert was served without spoons. Waitress had an accident: bucket of ice fell down, which is ok and might happen to everyone, however ice and water around the table was never cleaned up. Food was ok, but cold because of the delayed serving.

Our server was good, but the food was average. We ordered a burger which was over cooked and dry, and we did one 3 course Dine Out Boston dinner - crab cakes were the size of a half dollar coin and a half inch thick and not very flavorful, the main was a fisherman’s stew which didn’t have much seafood portion wise and the flavor was just ok. The best part of the 3 courses was the dessert - peach cobbler - good size, good amount of peaches and crumble and good flavor. Funny enough the best meal was had by our kids who both had fresh pasta. And good thing they couldn’t finish because we ended up needing some of their food to fill full.

Taste of the food was really good, great flavors! We participated in restaurant week and chose meals off the special menu. The restaurant was quite empty, so it was surprising when they began running out of the food on the menu. We both had to order the lamb chops due to the shortage, and he food was cold when it got to the table, as if it had been sitting around for an hour. The waitress came to drop off food, and would then disappear for long periods of time. Veggies were raw. Water glass was filled just once at the beginning of the meal and never again after that. When we did ask for drinks, we didn’t get them until the our main course came. All of this would be understandable, had it been a busy night for the restaurant. However it was a very slow night, in fact the same people that were seated when we walked in, were still seated when we left. Every table around us was trying to get the attention of the waitress so they could pay for their meal and leave. But she would just disappear in the back for long periods of time. Again, great taste to the food, just the execution and service destroyed what could have been an amazing experience.

Enjoying restaurant week selections the service was slow but Elisa the waiter was accommodating. Nice atmosphere and the lamb chops were awesome!

Our server is nice, young, pretty but extreme busy. The place was understaffed, service was slow. Otherwise it was a nice experience.

My boyfriend and I ate here for the first time during restaurant week- they didn't have one of the desserts on RW menu, but the food was delicious. We're young professionals- food might be on the pricey side outside of restaurant week deal. Service was attentive and friendly. Parking garage right under the restaurant makes parking easy.
