Nice variety of more gourmet pizza and salads. Good place for being able to go have a conversation without a lot of background noise. Prices for the food are reasonable, drinks are on the higher side but nice selections. I would this recommend this spot for a casual dinner

Enough with the pop up style. The food quality is not there anymore. What’s wrong with going back to the original 88 Wharf concept? I’ve sat outside many nights in the spring/summer and the food was excellent. But as of late, not so much. Quality food, quality waitstaff, good cooks = great restaurant, 88 Wharf seemed to have missed the memo on that :-(

A quick after work dinner turned into a 4+ Hour conversation! The waitstaff was very pleasant and patient, and he was in no hurry to move us out after we paid! We started with the charcuterie board; a couple of cheeses, meats, pickles, etc. good, though nothing special. I had salmon, which was very well cooked and tasty with a light sauce, accompanied by asparagus and greens. My friend had the hangar steak with the same sides. Very tender and cooked medium rare as requested. The menu is small with emphasis on pizzas, which also sounded good. The bar is lively later in the evening, but we were far enough away that it wasn’t an issue. We will go again!

Prior to making the reservation I looked at the menu. It had upscale Mexican dining which was perfect to celebrate my nephews birthday. When we got to the restaurant and handed the menu, it turned out to be an upscale pizza shop. I couldn’t believe what I was reading! I asked the waiter and he replied with some attitude that the Mexican menus came from a pop up restaurant in their location for a couple of months in the summer and they keep forgetting to take that menu off the internet and open table. It was too late to start looking for another place to go so we stayed. The pizza was thin crust and tasty, the appetizers, meatballs and calamari were ok and the drinks were average. When it came to dessert nothing was mentioned if my nephews birthday even tho I mentioned it thru open table. In summery, don’t get fooled by the menu, if you go, it was just average, like a neighborhood place to go.

We sat at the bar and it was quiet for a Friday night which is what I was looking for; a chill atmosphere. The tacos and guacamole on the menu were fantastic; recommend the pork or lobster tacos. The bartender Kelly was amazing; very friendly and knew her craft. Didn't catch the name of the other bartender but he was very personable, knowledgeable and friendly as well. Price was a little high but quality was still there. I would recommend 88 Wharf to everyone no matter what the occasion. Nicely done.
