We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary there because A Cote is one of our favorite restaurants, and we’ve had so many stellar meals and celebrations there over the years. Our go to place for visitors from far and near, and everyone asks to come back. Great place!

The mussels and fries are wonderful, and if you plan your visit for T-Thurs 5-7pm they are a terrific deal as well. Our dinner was great, two of us had the mussels and one had the beef daub. The food was great and the service easy and friendly. Great for a party with friends or a date night.

This was very disappointing. My dinner partner was delayed so I was alone, which was not a great thing on New Year's Eve, and my wait person completely neglected me ignored me to the point where I had to go up to the bar to ask for things, even though I'd asked another waitress to get my waitress. At least the other wait person did help me but it left a very bad taste in my mouth literally because the food she recommended that I wanted to try, she said it was good and it was really terrible for $28 vegetable pot pie had basically no taste and seemed like something you could heat up from the frozen section. This whole experience was a huge disappointment because I've had very good meals at A Cote in the past.

I have enjoyed this restaurant many times in the past, but they fell a bit short on the menu tonight. Pasta was undercooked, and deviled eggs underwhelming. My husband's steak was delicious however. Eating in the parklet out front does feel like you are little left out of the party happening inside.

Like everywhere, prices make it harder to justify. Cheapest glass of red wine is about $20. Nice Cab Franc, but. Flatbread was good but 1.25 for the container to take the last piece home. And it was $24. So good. But we will probably go elsewhere.

Food was pretty good, although a bit overpriced, which I expected for New Year's Eve. However, big disappointment because I specifically made a reservation for inside--because I get cold easily and because I wanted to hear the live music. Instead we got a table outside in the back, where I was cold the whole night and we could not hear the music at all.

The New Years menu was very poor. Not enough vegetables in the pot pie and the potato pancakes were thin, soggy and tasteless. Wedge salad was quite good. Overall there were no grilled fish dishes, only one appetizer and only one meat - steak which I don’t need to eat. Menu was very, very limited. There were four pages to the drink menu, and one to food.
