Enjoy a great array of freshly cooked dishes. Magnificent dishes are cooked by Chef Akira. Relax and enjoy lunch or dinner whilst making the most of the gorgeous views of our 33 acre landscaped gardens and The River Thames.
The theme of the Omakase course is a fusion of Japanese cuisine with local British and European ingredients. For example, we use traditional European ingredients such as croissants to create sushi and pasta to create Japanese dishes. We use the fresh Japanese wagyu beef for our starters and sushi, and we also use the Japanese techniques of curing local fish of Europe - using kombu seaweed - to bring out the best of the ingredients. Omakase course is £150 pp (£195 with wine & sake pairing)
All the guests (10-12 covers) will be seated on the same time on 1 long table.

My wife and I have had tasting menus at other Japanese restaurants and we were really looking forward to this. Unfortunately this was not a very good tasting menu. The biggest problem was having lovely cuts of tuna and Wagyu beef being spoilt with over the top amounts of truffle grated over the top so you couldn’t taste anything else. The wine and Sake pairing wasn’t what we were expecting we only received two different wines. Unfortunately we have to say this was the worst tasting menu we have ever had

Delicious Japanese Food, expertly prepared by the chef accompanied with a brief explanation of the ingredients and the cut of fish or meat used in the dish. There was plenty and variety of things to eat, all just a mouthful but all added up to a full meal, we were not hungry when we left. The dining is one long table, there was only 8 guests so very nice and intimate plus we got to chat to the other dinners which made for a lovely evening.

This should be bar seating instead of long dinner table. In our case the interaction with the couple we had next to us wasn’t great and given that me and my partner were sat in front of each other, we could barely speak in private.

This is our second time doing the Omakase at Oakley Court and it was as amazing as the first time. Chef Akira and his staff provide a truly amazing experience in a lovely, intimate setting and the sake pairing is not to be missed!

The most exquisite experience with chef akira and his team along with staff at Oakley Court. The food was delicious and presentation was spot on. An expensive meal but very worth it.
