Meh. It was a one and done experience. For the price point, there are other places with equally nice ambiance and views and we tried the gamut with an appetizer, cocktails (one of which my spouse sent it back), and main plates. Limited menu consisting of essentially burger, variations of tacos, and a couple of vegetarian dishes (veggie burger and a quinoa bowl).

The atmosphere was nice outside by the pool with views. The Caesar salad was the most boring salad I have ever eaten, my husbands Turkey Club Sandwhich was good the French fries just ok. I would not go back to eat here again, lunch menu was limited and overpriced. I think there are better choices for bay views.

My son and I had Christmas dinner at Albaca. It was underwhelming. For starters, in this time of tripledemic and other guests coughing into their hands and then grabbing serving tongs, a buffet meal MUST have hand sanitizer stations readily available. This buffet did not, and I used a napkin to handle the serving tong after the sick guest had used it. GROSS. The food was not great. The swordfish was so dry, the Brussels sprouts were hard/undercooked, and the diced yam tasted terrible. The poor servers were overwhelmed. Marriott needs to hire more staff! We were practically ignored the whole time and it was not the servers' fault - there are nowhere near enough of them, even though Marriott decided to go with a buffet style service. Maybe it's better on a non-holiday. That said, we will not be coming back on a holiday. The patio is beautiful. You can't go wrong in San Diego!

Christmas Day. Not over busy. Young lady at the desk was kinda rude. We got ignored at the table until I flagged someone. Food came pretty fast, which was good. And hot. The bagel , lox & cream cheese was good. We also ordered the egg white omelet & reg breakfast. All decent. We live here, so I realize that we’re getting treated like a tourist. But we want to be able to come back there and enjoy it. Will try again some other day.

Calamari was fantastic with a decadent sauce to pair. Flatbread was overly cheesy with little prosciutto or fig jam per bite, although it was large enough to be shared by two. Would not order again. Shrimp pasta had a nice sauce, with pasta cooked al dente. Three large shrimp on top were slightly over cooked, but overall an enjoyable dish. Would order again. The ALBACA brumble was spirit forward in an off-putting way. Even letting the drink mellow over the meal didn't tame the edge. The Not Your Father's Latte was also spirit forward with no coffee or sweetness detected. I didn't try any simple cocktails but their menu cocktails left much to be desired.

I sat at the bar, bartender Ulises was very nice and attentive. I couldn’t decide on a cocktail so he helped me by making a spin off drink from the menu cause I didn’t want something too sweet or too sour; and it was delicious! I ordered lemon pepper chicken wings and the catch of the day, both delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back. Thank you!

Very pleasant experience. Great service, food was delicious, nice surroundings. We were married there 17 years ago, went for a birthday dinner, all was great. Nice to bring back the memories of our wedding day. Would recommend to all.

This is a good spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It’s a nice view of the habour and well priced. The staff are also super nice. I would recommend Turkey BLTA and fish tacos for lunch. They also have good martinis there.

The food was very good, and the wait staff was friendly, but slow. Our waiter seemed to be covering the whole area, inside and out by herself. We will go back, as the food and drinks were very good.

Great menu to keep everyone happy. Excellent shrimp pasta, fish tacos and quinoa bowl. Nice wine list too. Service was great and prices seemed appropriate for the food and location.

Chicken wings were greasy awful. Beet salad as equally as bad. Surprising because breakfasts here have been good. Recommendation, go for breakfast not dinner.
