The Alex Surf Club is arguably the best seat on the beach with great food and friendly service all in one incredible location. Grab a seat at one of our great dining locations in the Bistro, Kiosk or Bluff Bar and your taste buds will be rewarded!

Our menus feature great family value meals cooked with some of the best locally grown and made produce on the Sunshine Coast.

Please note bookings 1-7 persons have 1.5 hours on table and 8+ persons have 2 hours.

The food and service were very good. We had help with meal selection for gluten free and vegetarian. The views were spectacular. I had requested a window table which we got. After lunch we sat down stairs and had Coffee and hot Chocolate.

The food and service are excellent. They’re a nice views from the tables near the windows. It is very spacious and you don’t feel crowded. Great for families.

Stood for a long time at the coffee counter, so returned to my table after 10 mins standing there. So my wife went back and actually had to ask the bar staff if anyone was serving there. I guess when your standing at a counter it's pretty obvious that an order is wanting to be made.

A pleasurable experience as always. Stunning views, beautiful meals, amazing staff, welcoming atmosphere. The entertainment on offer always goes off no matter what day of the week. Place is always buzzing!!!

Enjoyed a lovely fathers day lunch. Only negative would be our table was very close to people traffic to bar and bistro however bearing in mind how busy the venue was and booking less that 48hrs prior one would be grateful to even get a table. Thanks

Fathers Day smorgasbord breakfast for $30 a head was very overpriced with only a small selection of food and instant coffee. Meals off the menu have been very good in the past.

The Father's Day lunch was extremely average, very basic, definitely not worth $30. My Wife had eggs Benny, came with no meat just a little spinach with 2 poached eggs on an English muffin and hollandaise sauce for $20, definitely not worth that, $15 meal max.

Roast of the day , Beef was yummy, so was the kids burger. I asked for extra salad and no chips on my Dory , ( fish was lovely ) but the Chef interpreted this as throw an extra handful of watercress on top of the original salad 🤔

Had a fantastic family lunch. We were lucky & got a table right at the front with the opening bifold windows. Views are amazing. Food was excellent & good value. Our group had oysters, seafood platter for two, steak, chicken parmi & steak sandwich.

Chicken Ceasar salad very bland needed infusion of more bacon walnuts less of cos lettuce. Cost of $28 a tad excessive. Likewise steak should have had more salad and less chips

We booked a table a couple of days before - all family catching up. Table 7 at the front over looking the beach was perfect. It was busy but the noise was not to bad. Drink and food prices were fine. Up to the bar to order drinks and to then to the other end of the bar for meal orders. Everyone enjoyed their meals from pasta, seafood - the salmon and the salmon & prawns,chicken burger, Greek salad and steak. Great location. Parking was busy but we found one. Staff were very good as it was a very busy Saturday lunch..

$20 meal/ drink deal with dory/ chips/ salad very good.. hard flooring creates excess noise, plastic chairs not great, more blond wood/ rattan chairs would be preferable.Had to clear completed plates ourselves, as no service. Otherwise good 😀

We asked for and had a window seat so we could enjoy the amazing view. We selected barramundi and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was delicious, and the vegetables served with it really complemented it. We chose a dessert each and enjoyed them as well. A memorable birthday meal!

The online booking is great you have a table ready for us and that's a bonus when there are heaps of people waiting. The roasts are delicious and it's easy to negotiate the payment & collection process. Waiters and bar staff are helpful & friendly we highly recommend this club.

I'd recommend the Alex Bistro but not necessarily the "Club". The noise until 7.30 was over the top for me. How about some sound dampening stuff?!

An excellent lunch, I'd pre-booked and requested a window seat which gave us a view of the ocean. The four of us chose the dory from the lunch special menu - the fish was fresh and beautifully cooked in a beer batter and served with chips and a quinoa salad. Great value as we could choose either a wine, beer or soft drink - all for $20. We're locals but hadn't been to the Alex for a while; we'll certainly be back.

When overly busy, they just churn the meals out, no such thing as an entree which is followed by a main meal. It all comes out together cause they’re too busy! Food was ok, pork cutlet was undercooked
