Alibi Room is found in Vancouver, British Columbia and it is what you would call a modern tavern. It opened in 2006 and is proud to serve up a range of great tasting beers along with excellent food. All the meat, poultry and fish has been sourced locally, is ocean friendly or has been raised naturally.

Alibi Room has some great items on the menu. Check out the edamame, marinated olives and the cheese plate. Enjoy some delicious sandwiches including the crispy pork belly sandwich, jalapeño chicken and the beef burger. Alibi Room offers great lunch items, as well as some excellent options for brunch, such as the corned beef hash and French toast.

Printed menus would have been helpful. The drinks list was incomplete. My partner tried to order 3 drinks that were on the QR menu or on the chalkboard in front of us - they were out of all 3. Otherwise, the food and the ambience were fine.

My experience may not be genuine as the booking was made for the world cup finals. While booking was made indicating a spot for the game, the table reserved was like the first row in the cinema where view is limited... The menu of beer selection provided does not have price on them... The calamari ordered was small but its $22...

New owners. Why they decided to keep calling it the Alibi Room is beyond me. This was a bar that used to be focused on good beer. This was nothing like the old place and none of the staff still work there. Huge reduction in beer list, nothing interesting on tap (mostly Bomber) ; staff knew nothing about beer types nor local breweries. Golden sin of pouring beer with a tap handle of a beer they don't carry . Didn't have any food; left without ordering because I was so unimpressed. Recommend the owners change the name and don't pretend its the amazing place that was....

This was a cool spot to grab a pint and burger, or grab a cocktail and dig into a share plate. The staff were incredible and made sure our experience was enjoyable and that all our needs were met. I enjoyed the White Sangria and it was crisp and refreshing, perfect for the hot day. The trio of dips was fantastic (chips and bread on the side!!), and I split the pasta with a friend. We will definitely be coming back to this spot.
