Alimentari is quickly becoming one of my favorite lunch spots. It is conveniently located at 18th and Chestnut, and the food and service are always excellent. Without fail. My colleague and I were able to have a confidential conversation without feeling as if we were being eavesdropped, and the servers were attentive but not intrusive. Check this place out if you have not been!

We've been going to DiBruno's on 9th St for cheese and salumi for years, first when we lived in Philly and now when we visit. The Rittenhouse restaurant/market gives us a downtown option, which we tried this week-end. The Extravaganza was stunning, and the extra burrata we ordered was icing on the cake. DiBruno's - couldn't you please open a branch in Washington, DC?!

This is a homerun restaurant! Place is casual lovely. Service is excellent and not intrusive. The food is different but not crazy. The prices are outstanding. Have been many times - twice this week- and love it every time!

Food was very tasty but not out-of-this-world good, served promptly. Server and the people bringing the food were all knowledge and attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was a bit loud for my taste, and the decor wasn't anything spectacular, but it was all very clean and modern. Really good value for the money for a tapas-style menu and portions were appropriately sized.

The food, $70/per person for Valentine’s, was at best mediocre and if it had it been $70 for two the same review would be the same. An utter rip off at $140 for two. Service was terrific, wine (not included) also good, as were the gnocchi. Unfortunately the rest of the food was poor and appetizer portions hardly enough for one, much less two.

Solid meal. Was hoping for more variety in cheeses and a more adventurous cheese plate. It was good, but didn’t blow us away. Very knowledgeable waiter and quick service. Would definitely return for another round!
