Allora is one of the greatest restaurant experiences we've had here in Sac. The service was exceptional, the wine was divine, and the food was literally out of this world. Seafood centric but fantastic alternatives for those that aren't fans of that cuisine. 100% will be back and can't wait to see these guys earn a Michelin star. YES ITS THAT GOOD ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Allora is truly exceptional in every respect, from the prix fixe menu of unpretentious but superb choices, the remarkable wine list, and the attentive but not overbearing service. It has the charm of a neighborhood restaurant with the quality of a Michelin-starred establishment-- the hallmark of longtime restaurant owners, chef and sommelier, Deneb Williams and Elizabeth Rose Madalou. It would be a hit in any city in the world and it is a standout in the latest cycle of the Sacramento dining renaissance.

Allora is my FAVORITE restaurant in Sacramento. Hands down. I bring all of my guest there. Not only is the food top notch. The service is also THE BEST.

The food is spectacular, and the service is exceptional! Great atmosphere with quiet piano music that is soothing and allows for easy conversation. My husband and I agree that this was the best meal we've had on our anniversary in our 16 years. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This is a special place. The two 4-course meals, which included POLPO, PORK BELLY, SPAGHETTI ALLA CHITARRA (with added truffle), FETTUCCINE and WAGYU (with added truffle) were outstanding! Service was terrific.

Always an amazing time at Allora. The staff are beyond welcoming and knowledgeable about the food. The atmosphere is perfect. Outside area is warm and inviting, not a typical "outdoor" area. The cocktails are perfection. Every time we go we love our time there. The attention to detail is always spot on and you can tell that each staff member has been trained with upmost care. Always one of our favorite places to dine in Sacramento.

Once again, a wonderful experience! The prix fixe meal is a great way to get a nice mix of tastes and is more than the typical tasting menu. Never go wrong with the seafood choices.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Allora, and we couldn't have chosen a more beautiful spot. It was intimate without being stuffy. The food and service were impeccable, they accommodated our food preferences, and they took extra steps to celebrate our big day.

Fantastic food, the best service. Our server was super attentive, always knew when we needed something and was right there within seconds to figure how he can be of assistance. Been here a couple times and will be back once again!

It was my boyfriend and I’d first time at Allora and we had an amazing time. Our server Zek or Zack I can’t quite remember was outstanding! He provided excellent service and knew the menu like the back of his hand! It was such an intimate dinner where it felt like you were the only table with your friends or partner very romantic. The food was great! We loved the pulpo, scallops, hamachi, and short rib. I will say the black cod we ordered was a little bit bland I feel like a sauce on top would have made it top tier! But the drinks where amazing I ordered the passion fruit and my boyfriend ordered the pecan old fashion and some apple tequila drink. Overall the 4 course meal for us was perfect we left with the right amount of fullness. I would recommend. The hostess and back server were amazing as well last night! Very friendly staff. I loved it!

Allora has always been a personal favorite. They were very attentive to our needs and helped make a special occasion personal and memorable. I love the seasonal shifts in the menu to feature in season fare and the wine pairing was fabulous.

Went here for my birthday. I like you can swap out your course meal for different choices. Food was consistent across all dishes. Def Michelin quality but the portions were small. I was still hungry by the time the 3rd course came. The bill was overpriced for what we ordered. They could've added a bit more pasta to make it filling. You should leave a restaurant satisfied/full and this one barely made it.

My husband and I dined here to celebrate his 30th birthday, and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the patio, the excellent service and some of the best meals we've ever had. The staff really go out of their way to make it a personalized and pleasant experience, from menus curated to your special event, to folding your napkin when you step away from the table. I highly recommend the wine pairing, it was the cherry on top to a perfect dining experience.

Everything about our experience was wonderful. Starting with the menus that sid Happy Anniversary with our names on it. The service and the food was amazing. Will definitely go back and would highly recommend.

This is my second review of the restaurant, it will be a bit more technical, so you may want to skip the truffle description part. We booked this dinner as the owner told us he was going to start a new truffle menu for the season. Indeed the menu has now two kinds of truffle proposed as supplement to I suppose any dish. As you know if you had the opportunity to taste that amazing fungus, truffle inhense almost any dish. The French chefs use truffle and foie gras everywhere to bring the dish to a higher level. However, there are only 2 kinds of truffle that really worth the experience amongst several sub species: for the black one, it’s Tuber Melanosporum that really small and taste extraordinary, the one presented here at Allora is a Burgundy kind or Tuber Uncinatum, much less interesting. For the white ones, the white truffle from Alba in Italy Tuber Magnatum is amazing in taste and smell. The one proposed here is not, they are Tuber Borchii, much less interesting… still you will be charge $35 extra for the Burgundy black truffle and a $95 supplement for the “whitish truffle” from Tuscany. Another comment about this whitish truffle I added to my delicious spaghetti, the chef shaved it so thin, like cigarette paper that the only benefits for the dish was the smell, you had lost the crunchiness that is part of the experience of eat ing truffle, with the taste, the smell and the textures. So, in summary, yes these are truffle but not the ones that really taste and smell amazing, still you will be charge an unreasonable fee for it. For the rest of the experience it was again a fantastic meal, great staff and amazing wine list, you may refer to my previous evaluation as the menu has in fact not change at all since last month.

Absolutely the best that Sacramento has to offer. The menu can't fully reflect the quality of the ingredients nor the great preps and flavors involved. The service is outstanding - they know the food, the preps, the qualities of top notch service in a city that no longer seems to care. Beautifully curated Italian wine list. If you're care for an elevated food, wine and service experience, you must go to Allora.

The whole staff were amazing. It was my wife and I’s 16th wedding and they personalized our menu, a very nice touch to make our evening extra special. They were very attentive and nice. They have a good selection of whiskey and some that not many places carry, for example, Starward. I recommend getting the conserva 3.0, it was out of this world.

Excellent meal! Not at an elite level though. It's a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. Drinks were excellent and the wine was good. $25 for a glass of decent chardonnay is excessive. I would go back, but only only for a special occassion. The Kitchen ans Localis are much better.

This was my first time at Allora. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and did an awesome job of taking care of us! Chef Derek's dishes dazzled my taste buds!!!! If you are looking for an amazing culinary experience this is the place to go. I am so glad that I found Allora and my husband and I will be returning:)

I had an incredible experience at Allora! If I had to give it word Id say it was special. The staff successfully made every customer feel as if they were the only ones in the restaurant and that each meal served was the most important one. I will make dining at Allora a tradition when an occasion requires care and consideration.
