   Location is the reason to go if you like to look at boats. Porch will get windy and cold. Food was good but service was slow. Server had too many tables.

   My wife and I shared appetizers including shrimp & crab dip, coconut shrimp and fried calamari. More than enough to make a meal. The calamari was good but the best we had in Key West must go to the Conch House - a stones throw away.

   Bucket list trip in key west and my guy of 45 years loves oysters so … heard great reviews and Alonzo’s did not disappoint. I had a delish shrimp bowl (a dozen shrimp!) and my hubby had the oysters and caviar combo! Great ambiance, excellent service! If you’re in key west, a definite to go!!

    Extremely disappointed. I ordered their « signature dish » which was coconut coated fish and my husband ordered the blackened fish with the Asian oysters and conch soup. Both fish meals were a total shame to the restaurant industry. It tasted bad, it was badly plated and it did not represent the real Key West. Their « Asian oysters » was the worst part. A thick brown sauce and a huge piece of ginger. Again, cheaply plated and no effort was put into this dish. The conch soup barely had any conch pieces in it. Our waiter sounded annoyed and fed up of life. You could tell he did not want to be there. This is by far the worst place I’ve ever visited. The only thing that saves this restaurant is the location and the view.

    Appetizers were good and perhaps the kitchen didn’t have their regular cooks but a few of us ordered dinner and all the seafood that was fried was very over cooked and all tasted the same which was very average at best.

    Service was great, our waiter Eric was really attentive. Food was good, we had some oysters, coconut shrimp, diablo pasta and everything came out as expected. Vibe was nice, overlooking the marina. We had reservations and were seated immediately on a sunday evening.

    We went for dinner on a Saturday night with reservation thru OpenTable. The place was packed but got seated in few minutes. We sat on the high top table next to the bar so one of the guys who worked in the bar took care of us. He was attentive and pleasant to deal with, even with all the busyness of the whole restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious--Tuna nachos, oyster sampler, seafood fra Diablo pasta and stonecrabs and some drinks.

    Wonderful food. Oysters, clams, stone crab claws. All fresh and delicious! They were quite busy so the service was a touch slow - but our waitress apologized and was doing her best. Awesome view, ocean breeze, seafood feast of epic proportions!

    Our server was good but our appetizer and entrees came out together- not good!!! I ordered the Alaskan king crabs legs and they were spectacular!!! That’s what I went to Alonzo’s to get BUT they were $30. more than their menu states on open table. The only reason I didn’t make a fuss about it was because it was a very generous portion and they were delicious.

    We had the absolute best service. Taylor was on it, waters always topped off, things delivered fast but not too fast. Our food was also amazing. Would 10/10 recommend the oysters and crab.

    Good tasting food, service was not great and presentation for $120 oyster tower was unacceptable. Had to standup in order to access the top tier of the tower. Ice had melted and gotten into the oysters before it reached the table. Caviar was really not caviar, just some small fish eggs of some kind, very low quality.

    Chowders were good. Entrees poor, especially the signature dish coconut grouper. The fish was grey and slimy and the ratio of batter to fish was overwhelming. It was not edible. The blackened halibut was tasteless and dry but at least it was edible. Service was good and table on the outdoor deck was pleasant. But the food was really subpar. Go somewhere else.

    The service provided by Alli was very good. The food was good but no wow factor. I think when food is spicy it should be mentioned on the menu or by the wait staff. Several of our party of 10 ordered the lobster roll, it was quite spicy and not what they expected in a mayonnaise-based lobster roll.

    Last night in town and mom wanted oysters. Hubby ordered the Mahi and it was over cooked. Oysters were Ok but the ahi nachos were amazing. Service was a little lacking. Maybe because we weren’t drinking alcohol??

    Beautiful spot for dinner, right at the marina and on the water. We saw the sunset cruise boats coming in after dusk. Great people watching! If you get there before 6:30 the have good drink specials. Food was pretty good too and big portion sizes. Overall very good.

    Hands down, THE BEST Happy Hour in Key West! The small plates on the Happy Hour menu offer a variety of options for all palettes. The prices are very reasonable for Key West, but the view is the real star of the show! Pro Tip: get an outside table on the east side of the restaurant to view the daily Tarpon Feedings at 4pm.

    Service was first rate. Food was excellent. Everything we had was so very good. There were three of us. We had raw oysters, coconut fried grouper, lobster mac n cheese, flash fried calamari, and crab legs and a nice cabernet. Left nothing on the plates and zero room for dessert. This was our favorite restaurant on our trip. Highly recommend.

    I’ll start this by saying my husband and I are very understanding people, often give the benefit of the doubt, and also are very gracious when it comes to service. Out of all the places we dined at in our week in Key West, this was the most disappointing experience. Everywhere else was great. Booked a reservation through Open Table. When we arrived, there was no record of our reservation. Thought that was strange. However, We were still seated outdoors immediately. Ordered 2 of each kind of oyster on the menu and 2 entrees. Our entrees came out before our oysters. We sent them back, and requested our oysters. Unfortunately, our entrees were then placed under a heat lamp for 20 minutes while we had our oysters. We knew because the drizzle of sauce on my grouper seemed to gain a sort of bubbled crust and the Cole slaw that came with my husband’s sandwich was warm instead of cold. His tartar sauce that was served on the side also had a crust/film, indicating it was heated, likely under the heat lamp while we had our oysters. We were disappointed with the experience, especially for the price. I would recommend choosing another waterfront restaurant. There are plenty from which to choose.
