This was our first visit to Amelia’s; decided to try it before attending a concert at The Walters. We were seated immediately, and there was a loud, large party right down the middle of the restaurant and very close quarters to us, so that made talking and hearing a strain for most of our time there! However, the service and food were beyond reproach! We got there a bit before Happy Hour ended so got a street taco appetizer to share—yum! We chose al pastor which was succulent and seasoned perfectly. We ordered three different dinner plates and shared around the table. Everything was delicious! We definitely plan to go back to try breakfast, and anticipate lunch and dinner too :)

A surprise. From the outside, it looked to be a run-of-the-mill bare-bones cafe. But inside, with friendly service and pleasant back-ground music, the place came alive. Well worth the money and the adventure in flavor. Heartily recommend.

The food is excellent with a bit of a twist on “traditional “ Mexican. Service quick, friendly staff & margarita excellent. We did ask to have the music turned down some & the staff did. Will go again. However, reservations not necessary.

Food was outstanding! Prices a little on the high side given that the ambience/environment and service was very casual. But overall, would definitely recommend and will return more likely for breakfast or lunch rather than dinner.

Good food, love the selection and that they cater to vegans and vegetarians, etc... love that they have an open bar and fountain drinks as well besides just canned soda. One bathroom but it’s clean. They have a little efficient well oiled machine running. Can’t wait to see them expand.
