Something has awakened in the abandoned kitchen of the historic Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel. This October, Apparition transforms it into Nightmare Kitchen—an eerie, shadow-soaked pop-up bar where the atmosphere full of creepy craft cocktails and an eerie ambience! But don't delay - for this bar will only last 13 days and will be gone quicker than you can say YES CHEF!

The experience at apparition this year was not nearly as fun as last year. It seemed to be lacking in decor. There was no greeter. Staff wasn't in full costume. We showed ourselves to our seats, and wait staff was not prompt to come take our orders. The waitress left the room for about 10 minutes, and the bartender came over to take our orders. They were out of the group drink. Individual drinks were $13, small, and unenjoyable.

It was a fun adventure trying to find the entrance! The drinks were very inventive and reasonably priced. My friend and I had a lovely time and the servers were very attentive.

I didn't have any food, but the drinks were good. Widows kiss, spirited (i think) sangria, and blood bag. I might not have the names right. I should probably go again to be completely accurate 🤔

The Lincoln location is nothing like what's advertised online. The bartender was super nice and his service was quick, but that's about all the place has going for it. Decor was ok, nothing off the charts. The music was a light jazzy background music which didnt fit the vibe at all. No Halloween music or creepy sounds, no fog, no other employees AT ALL, no one to greet you at the door or welcome you in, no actors as shown online, and the drinks were very weak and sugary with a ton of ice. The only thing that was good was the orange and purple lighting. We were excited to check it out but feel this location totally missed out on it's potential. We stayed for about 30 minutes to finish our bland cocktails and left. Bummer.

Not sure why I paid a cover to sit in a unused kitchen with some old hotel room furniture covered in cobwebs. There is potential if they put some real effort into it. Feels like a slapped together holloween money grab...and that's what it is. The spookiest part was trying to find the place.
