   Our server Melody was very helpful and personable. We dined in on the patio for happy hour and everything came out delicious in a timely matter. The manager personally checked in on our dining experience and made sure everything was perfect. Would highly recommend and be back soon to try more.

   Seated on a Sunday at 1245. There was only one other family in the entire restaurant and they sat us right next to them. I asked for another seat so we could all have our own space. Seemed ridiculous to have an empty restaurant and have the only over patrons sat next to each other. Later on we were the only ones in the restaurant and they sat a couple on the other side of the booth so now an empty restaurant and I was 12 inches from the other party.

   A wonderful dining experience from Chef Mike Trudnak and his staff. Service was attentive without being intrusive, food was delicious and portions were generous. Highly Recommended!!

   We have been hearing about Aurora for months and finally secured a reservation for our anniversary. It was everything we had both expected, and so much more! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

   We expected a high-quality venue, however, the seating and ambience was not what was anticipated. The truffle french fries were excellent, however served with ketchup versus a unique sauce. The prime fillet mignon shepherds pie was $38, the sweet potatoes inside were good but the steak was not filet mignon. It was quite fatty. We were disappointed, left expecting more.

   This is fourth or fifth time visiting Aurora and we have yet to be disappointed. Today was our anniversary and we loved our visit. Had a nice card to greet us telling us Happy Anniversary, drinks and food were excellent. The prime filet mignon shepherds pie and the black garlic pappardelle were excellent. Finished up with the supernova for dessert.

    We went to Aurora for my husbands bday! Everyone enjoyed there meals except my husband. He had the ox tail with udon noodles and thought the dish would of been better with either rice or regular noodles. He thought the udon noodles were heavy and slimy. Other than that we all enjoyed are meals. The super nova dessert was the icing on the cake. DELICIOUS Would definitely go back.

    Another fantastic meal at Aurora. Was celebrating a belated birthday and Chef Mike took great care of us with a wonderful cheese platter to start. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals from a hamburger to Sheppard Pie. Oh and don’t forget dessert it should not be missed.

    We Love Aurora and can’t say enough good things about it!!! We tell all of our friends. We have never had a bad meal or experience here. We eat out a lot at great restaurants both here and on travel, this one rivals them all!! It’s a gem, we feel blessed every time we come in. We Love Melody so much, and there are others who also have impressed us too!! Great great job to everyone here at Aurora!!

    Aurora is one of my favorites and it was my first time for brunch. Overall it was a great time had by all. My son turned 21 and the restaurant signed a card for him! Very nice touch. Food and drinks were amazing. Highly recommended visiting here.

    This was my first time at Aurora. We have heard incredible things about the food and ambiance. We had the Crispy Paella Arancini, these were delicious, savory, perfectly cooked, I had the trio of sliders and roasted potatoes, the crab cake and pork belly were so flavorful but the wagyu burger slider was dry. My friend got the tikka Marsala chicken and sweet potato waffles which were so unique and satisfying! We also had the croissant beignets and coffee mousse! I don’t normally like sweets but these were the perfect mix of sweetness!

    Very eclectic menu. Found it very interesting and diverse. Anyone should be able to fine something to their liking. Complimentary valet was definitely a plus.

    The atmosphere is similar to an upscale Dennys. Very loud, felt like going in to a nice cafeteria, nothing intimate about the restaurant at all. The entrées were very good but I would skip the cheese board because even at the larger portion it is very limited on the number of pieces you receive and the bread was only 2 toast points so we had to order (and pay) for more. Certainly not enough for more than 2 people. Service was good. We had the manager as our server because they were short staffed. She was very accommodating and pleasant. The wine list is very limited. It was good to try but I would not return.

    We started off with the artisan cheese board and sliders. We also had an artfully presented filet and lobster tail, indulgent pappardelle pasta, fresh salmon, and a local salad. We loved the entire experience from the service to the food. We’ll definitely go back.

    We only tried this restaurant as we were late in booking a reservation for Valentine's Day at one of our favorite restaurants. As a result we discovered a great new dining experience. Aurora has a relaxed, modern vibe and is located off the lobby of the Celeste Hotel. Even though it was a busy night, we were greeted and seated promptly. Our server Jessica was friendly and efficient. The real star of the show, though, was the food! Both my skirt steak and my wife's salmon were excellent. Their 'local salad' as a starter was a great choice with a unique mix of components and flavors. The only reason we didn't lick our plates clean was to save room for desert. (We were happy to take some of our entrée home for lunch the next day!) We ordered the Super Nova for desert which is a round chocolate shell encompassing vanilla ice cream and a fudge base. The shell is melted tableside by pouring warm caramel over the top. Decadently delicious and fun! We can't wait to return for another meal!

    This was for Valentine’s Day. They gave me a rose and a card, that was a very nice touch. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. The only thing that could be improved is having a pianist or some sort of background music. Overall, everything was wonderful.

    As usual, the Aurora is a wonderful place to have a meal. It’s hard to know when the place will be crowded, or like it was yesterday, which was almost empty. No matter, the food is always super terrific, and the service varies from very good to excellent. This is a hidden gem and you should put it on your list!

    This was a very disappointing experience. This was similar to what you would experience at a local poorly run fast food restaurant. Poor communication from the time I showed up to the hostess, filthy floor, the overall ambiance was very unpleasant. The guy singing was so bad I had to put on noise canceling headphones. The wine I ordered took forever to arrive at the table and I had to remind the waiter to bring me the wine. The food was tasty but not worth putting up with how bad the service is.

    George was great! Two of us ordered the skirt steak and it came out ice cold. George brought it back to the kitchen, but when it came back out it was still cold. George was able to comp us our desserts which were wonderful, we will return and have already booked a reservation for Easter brunch.

    Not as pescatarian friendly as we hoped but 4 entree options avail for someone who is on Glutenfree diet. In the reservation, we noted it was a birthday celebration and one GFree and one pescatarian person dining. We also asked for a nice table. Well, we were set 1st table at entrance with the bar/lounge entertainer just round the corner! Noise between the singer and crowd in restaurant was too much. The waiter never acknowledged the birthday or dietary requirement. The crab cakes sandwiches were very good. I had the GFree Shepard pie at $30- portion was enough for me but probably not for most with bigger appetite. The asparagus were very overcooked. Our waiter was nice and checked in on us a few times. We were given the dessert menu but didn’t order anything.

    Took my friend here for the first time. I’d only been one time with a larger group. The food was very good and menu is unique varied choices. Waiter-Levy made it a very good experience. He was knowledgeable about the menu and not shy about advice. He spoke highly of the chef and made it feel like a “foody” experience. I’d say the only thing we have all come up with is the atmosphere is odd. Entrance is weird and awkward for the restaurant once inside. Trying to put the hotel restaurant experience out of your mind is hard. The decor is pretty and eclectic but maybe the extremely high ceiling and booth seating takes away from intimate dining you’d get at a fine restaurant. I ordered the shepherds pie very unique sweet potato and filet meat. Hearty and good meat was tender. Vegetables could have been cooked a tad longer on both my dish and my friends. Friend ordered the Salmon risotto. Very large portion and done well. Would recommend to try this restaurant especially if you want a nice experience and non chain place to go that’s nice in the Oviedo area.

    I think I was a little disappointed, and expected more. We had heard nice things and decided to check out the restaurant, because we were picking up friends from the airport, so it kind of put us on that side of town, from where we live. I kind of built it up to them as we drove over, and since they always look to me for suggestions, I felt I let them down. Nothing was bad. It just wasn’t extraordinary, like I was expecting. Drinks were weak. Arancini bites were probably my favorite of everything we tried. Ok crab cakes. Burgers were good, but very saucy and rather hard to eat. Dessert was a rich chocolate brownie with different sauces. Again a bit ordinary. I think what really detracted, and made it just a good experience, and not great one, was the fact that we were in a booth and the lighting is very bright. Almost like a fancy diner.

    My husband and I went for a birthday brunch for me. The food was delicious, the seafood paella arancini were crispy on the outside and very flavorful on the inside. The crab cake eggs benedict were delicious with perfect poached eggs. The orange mimosa and the house punch were great drinks to complement the food and because it was my birthday I had to splurge and try the supernova dessert which was very indulgent and a perfect end to our brunch. However there were some misses with regards to our service, though our server was very nice and helpful we liked her, I do have to mention that we didn’t get plates with our appetizers so we had to let what seemed to be a manager know, we didn’t get spoons with our dessert, we were not asked if we wanted drink or water refills and then at the end we didn’t get a pen to able to sign our bill. Our server also did seem rushed during our meal, which made us also feel rushed, I know that was not her intention but nonetheless it’s how we felt. They are small details but they did take away from the overall experience.

    Went out on a double date and had a great night. The service was phenomenal, everyone we met was so happy and friendly. Our server Esther was fantastic! The food was fantastic, my only quip is that some of the plates portions were small. But we will be coming back again.

    Overall experience was great. The pork belly mac and cheese was awesome. Entree portion sizes were great. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly. The supernova dessert impressed on both the presentation but mainly the taste. The only item that I didn't prefer was the low partitions between the seating in the middle. This gave an uncomfortable feeling of being to intimate with the others around you. Some may prefer this but personally I would like a more secluded feeling when dining. Well worth the visit and we will be going again.
