Austin's American Grill is the quintessential taste of Colorado. Ordered pot pie, when i ordered I asked for it to be served hot. It was served cold, I could touch dish with my hands. Asked for it to be reheated and it was re-served as cold as it was the first time. Crust was not crisp either time, so much so, I couldn’t cut through crust (crust is puff pastry square on top) with a fork.

Austin’s is reliable. Hadn’t eaten there in a decade or more but the food was the same. Not great but good. The atmosphere is warm and the staff were awesome!

Ribs were a little dry. Chicken was slightly over. Brussel sprouts starter was overdressed and not very hot. Server was extremely nice. Drinks were good. Salads were all very good. Place is comfortable and very reasonably priced.

Appetizers took awhile, food took awhile, meal was served sorta lukewarm. Nothing about it was great but for reliably good tasting food and overall menu selection it’s not bad

While our food was tasty, we ordered soup, cornbread, and entrees. I was extremely disappointed when they brought soup and cornbread (appetizer) out at the same time as our entrees. All of our food was also just lukewarm. Again, the food was very good, but they missed the mark by cold food and bringing everything out at once. It was a special night out, so we didn't complain as it would have ruined it for my son, but it was rather frustrating.

Host was absolutely horrible. He tried to sit me next to the rotiserrie chicken grill which was very hot. I asked if we could sit at one of the open booths. We actually had a reservation too. He said "sorry. the system automatically assigns a table and that one was what was assigned to us and that the booth was for another party". Needless to say I spoke to the mgr and got the booth, but it started the meal off on a very wrong foot. Food was meh. It really wasnt that great. Service continued to be poor. Server would disappear for long periods of time. Nice ambience, but for these other reasons, I will not be back

Great spot downtown, very vibrant. Awesome waiter. Only issue we had was the fry machine was on the fritz, which he was very honest and told us about and said you might have to wait for fries. Ended up being a healthier option to get a salad with our burgers anyway lol. Highly recommend if you're in Fort Collins

We showed up 30 minutes early. Had a drink at the bar. Thank you for having Empress Gin btw: It was CSU homecoming: crazy busy. Crazy loud. We were seated at a booth we wanted inside. We appreciated that. My date ordered a steak. After the first bite he said it was wrong and grizzly tasting: . Without hesitation our server (Casey ?) removed it. No questions asked and replaced it with the bison. She could not have been any more amazing. The manager came over and apologized, which was an impressive touch. Consequently, you have loyal customers for life. It was a pleasure to dine and we were well taken care of.
