We had a great first dinner to Barrios and will be returning! Staff/waitstaff seems to all work together to best serve the customers! Great recommendations from the waiter on what to eat and what to drink. Everything was so good. Atmosphere was pleasant.

As a Mexican we hardly choose Mexican restaurants to dine as I find that most or almost all Mexican restaurants here aren’t really Mexican restaurants but instead Texan food I find this to be the most authentic Mexican fine cuisine I have visited in the United States great smells great colorful combinations of flavors will come again..

Food was good and waitresses was great. The hostess is why this review is not great. Tried to get reservations for a birthday for a party of 8 they said they did not have anything then we asked if we could get two separate tables of 4 and they said no they could not do this they were too booked. This was asked a few days before event. Went to open table and we were able to book two tables of 4. When we arrived the place did not seem too packed quite a few open tables. I understand they need to keep so many open or for other reservations. We asked if they could seat us next to each other since there were several tables next to each other. The hostess said no. They put us at opposite ends of restaurant. Our waitress and the other waitress did not understand why they did that and they put us next to each other so we really appreciated that. Just a bad experience with the hostess at this place other than the hostess it was great.

Very surprised. Service was excellent. Food was too. Loved the smoky salsa with the chips. I had chicken fajitas and my wife had something with short rib meat. We will go back. Since the time we ate there, we recommended it to someone, and they happened to eat there just the other day. They thanked us for the recommendation, saying the food was awesome. Interior is lovely, reminded us a little of Frida’s in the Paseo.

We had reservations seated within 1 minute after arrival. Food was plated nicely and portions were just right. Very consistent. Service was super friendly and attentive.

This trip to Barrios was good, but not as good as last time. The food was a bit disappointing, except for the guacamole. The carnitos tacos were ok. The service was as good as always! I do recommend this restaurant. Everyone can have an off day. :)

Enjoyed a relaxing and tasty dinner with family and friends. The parking was a bit of a chore, but would allow extra time to find a spot because the food, drinks and service are that good.

I love Barrios. Truly one of the city's best kept secrets. The house margarita is excellent and the rest of the drink menu pales in value. The fried capers on the Fish Tacos are a revelation of flavor. Also try the broccolini if you need a pop of fiber and flavor with your meal. My wife and I often split an order. The chef understands spicy food *perfectly*. Everything with chile will be at *just the correct level* to add flavor but not useless heat. (I'm looking at your Atomic Salsa, Ted's. You suck.) Dessert might be wonderful -- we're always so full that we have never gotten around to it.

Great drinks to start off a very flavorful meal. The Lawson’s Salad is fantastic and unique to Barrios. While all the entrees are outstanding their side of Mexican Street Corn is the best.

Barrios is a yummy solution to the question of "Where do we go before the show?" We made reservations and were seated immediately. Our server heard us say that we needed to leave by a certain time to make the show and she was pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was delicious! Not sure if I would order the house margarita again, it was a little too sweet for me, but I tried my husband's sangria and it was really good! Would definitely go again.

We never saw our server again after the food came out. The bartender got us another round of drinks and then I had to walk up to the bar to pay the bill. Terrible service. When I'm going to spend that much going out to eat on a friday night I expect to at least not have to get up and flag down the bartender for everything after the food comes out.

I had eaten here in about 6 months and was very disappointed. The margarita I was so looking forward to was bland, my spicy peanut kale salad was basically a bowl of warm kale with a splash of dressing and a few cranberries thrown on top. Husbands veggie fajitas were bland and tasteless as well.

Healthy and delicious. Great margaritas. Not your typical Oklahoma Mexican joint. A fresh and tasty alternative. Margaritas made me happy. Chicken soup was delicious. I'd leave out the corn tortilla strips next time as it was overkill. Broth was amazing. Salsa delicious. Cesar salad was exceptional but I asked them to chop it instead of seeing it whole leaf...I like the dressing to get all over. Yummy spot!
