This is a neighborhood gem that I’m trying for the first time. The gnocchi with the ragu was delicious. The gnocchi was so soft. The papordelli was also very well done. We will be back

Such a friendly attentive staff, the food is clearly made fresh daily and many options GF and other allergy options, great Bar, Wine selection and very accomodating. It was a pleasure and will certainly return.

Took forever to get our drinks. Ice cube was half melted in mine. Too much salt in the shrimp gnocchi sauce. An interruptive during our conversations servers with a fake Italian accent rushing guests to pick up the plates, order dessert and pay even if we didn’t ask for a check. Most likely won’t visit again.

Went for lunch, the minestrone soup was like grandma made, it was excellent. Our pasta dishes & dessert were very good. Will go back for dinner next time.

We love Bella! We’ve been going there for over 10 years. Authentic Italian food, great service! They added VIP booth that sits 6 people easy. We were seated at the booth on our last visit for Mother’s Day everyone was satisfied with their orders, especially kids. Michael the manager is the BEST! Always with warm smile. Definitely recommend for family & friends dinner or date night.

The food is not great, it’s topical American/Italian nothing special at all. The bartender ignored us until he was ready rather than acknowledged and greet. The room looks like a sports bar and the carbonara is not great. I appreciate that the ingredients are correct but somehow doesn’t live up to homemade or other places that do it right…was flavorless. Our server was very nice though I won’t be going back or recommending. Very disappointed

This is probably the 6th time I’ve been here now and it never gets old. Everything I order is delicious. I’m expecting I’ll eventually have tried the whole menu at some point. The service is always top notch, too. Every staff member so pleasant and you really get a sweet vibe when you’re here. The pasta tastes so fresh and it’s always cooked perfectly. The sauces are rich and not oily, not overly salted. This time I had the amatriciana, which comes with pork cheek, and gosh the crispiness of the pork bits… heaven. I’ll be back next month!

Went there for a friend's birthday. Made reservations and they greeted us a the door with a warm, happy birthday. We all ordered different dishes and we enjoyed them all. The service was amazing.

Food was average at best (had pasta, gnocchi, trout, seafood stew). Ambiance OK. Tables without tablecloth were a bit sticky. Service adequate. Overall this used to be a more special place than it is now.

Pasta portions should be more generous for price $19-26 per plate. I greatly appreciate physical menus over QR codes and phone ordering. Physical menus are part of the favorable dinning experience.

This is not good Italian. This isn’t even good Italian American red sauce Italian. Don’t be fooled by some of the reviews. The salad was drenched in dressing, the bread is like what a home cook would make at home, no crust or bubbling, but was ultimately the highlight, as it was homey and simple. But the pasta and gnocchi were over sauced, the sauce was salty and also quite plain at the same time. The server said, “you didn’t Ike your food?” And then glared at us, as though we were at fault. We were polite and tipped and got out. There are so many good Italian restaurants in the city. This is not one of them, and it’s not even close to good enough to be worth a night out. Save your money.

My mom had her 80th birthday dinner here and it was my first time at the restaurant. Everything and everyone was amazing! The service was incredible and felt like we were with family❤️ the food was the real deal Italian ❤️ thank you everyone for making my mom's birthday so special

The food was good and the service from our waiter was great. I was very disappointed with the hostess. I showed up for a 6:30 reservation ahead of time and numerous people who came in after us were seated first and we had to bother her a few times before we were seated at an awkward table.

Had dinner that was just ok. The service was friendly and efficient but the food was nothing special. It felt like they tried too hard to be clever. The “Not Carbonara” needed more seasoning, less cheese, and the butternut squash didn’t really add much. The Eggplant Parmesan was fine, but nothing special. We did enjoy our salad.

What a great time, food, service, ambiance! Our first time although having lived a block away in previous years but never had the opportunity to dine for whatever reason. Well worth our trek in from the Peninsula and our friends from the East Bay. Gnocchi as advertised were fantastic, 3 of us each had a different preparation of those, our serious carb holdout had the trout and was equally pleased. We were coached on our appetizer selection as well as wine and it all came together beautifully. We were on the early side at 5:30 so it was quiet, by the time 2 hours later the place was buzzing. Definitely on the list of do over on our trips back into the City.

Fantastic outdoor service with great reasonable price food. Polenta excellent. Great Thick homemade spaghetti with meatballs and homemade sauce. Good seafood platter. All large enough to bring some home for another meal. Awesome Rich Chocolate Gelato.

Waiter was rude and spoke in demanding tone of voice. It was so dark inside I couldn't see my food. Worst of all I got a food born illness from my meal. Probably could've discovered something was wrong with my good had I been able to see it. Too late now. Kudos to the staff support. They were perfect.
