Bill's By the Beach features contemporary Gulf cuisine with a beautiful view of the pristine Alabama beaches. One of the advantages of being located right on the beach is that diners get the freshest seafood possible. All of the shrimp and most of the fish is caught in the same water that is situated just minutes from Bill's front patio.Bill's menu consists primarily of seafood, which makes sense. Starters include "not your fried" coconut shrimp with garlic chile sauce, bacon & crab cheesecake with herbed cream cheese and tomato onion ham and fried mac and cheese with smoked gouda, white cheddar, candied jalapeño and topped with a chipotle aioli. Entrées are generally light and include soups, salads and sandwiches like the sweet tea fried chicken, yellowfin tuna melt, fried shrimp po boy and Bill's beach burger made with a custom blend of beef short rib, brisket and sirloin

We offer a variety of menu options to meet the needs of a simple family or company picnic to a romantic wedding or corporate gala. We also assist our clients in coordinating your specialty custom rental needs; including items such as tables, chairs, décor, linens, plates and glassware if desired.

Utilizing one or a combination of spaces, we can accommodate any group, up to 250 ppl. We offer a digital projector with Bluetooth projection capability for nearly any type of presentation. We will make table arrangements based on your group needs. Past events have included rehearsal dinners, wedding & baby showers, board meetings, other corporate events and private dinners for nearly every occasion.

This is the place to go if you want poor customer service and very mediocre food. I give it a one star for mainly its bad management as they do not seem to care about their customers.

My steak was a high quality piece of meat that was cooked to perfection. Sherrill had the steak also and was very pleased. I wish they had a baked potato , the mashed potatoes didn't do it for me.

Snowbirds who have not been here before. Bill's came recommended so we spent New Year's Eve here. Food was great but our waitress, Danielle, was over the top. Outstanding.....she was both professional and very friendly. The manager (Bill?) even came over to check on our food and to visit.

My mom and I are from Memphis and we just spent the holidays in Orange Beach. We found Bill's after using Google to locate restaurants in the area. We went around 5:00 on December 30th for an early dinner and decided to return for New Year's Eve at 7:30 because we enjoyed it so much. Both times the service was great and the food was fantastic. Very friendly waitstaff and the owner seated us and explained the menu and specials. I am a vegetarian and I always have difficulty finding good food that is not just an afterthought on the menu. I ordered the Pasta with Mushrooms and Spinach the first night and the Fried Mac n Cheese with the Wedge Salad the next night. Mac n Cheese may sound boring but it was unbelievable. Three large scoops, fried and topped with a spicy mayo and jalapeno. It was an appetizer but I had it for my entree and it was plenty. Bill's is the kind of restaurant you could stop by in your shorts and flip flops to have a beer or just as easily dress up in linen pants and a nice shirt. It is across from the beach but has a great view. I have told friends and we will definitely come back in the Spring.

Good food. Friendly staff. Nice view. We gave it a low noise level because it was Saturday brunch. It's probably rockin' on Saturday night.

Fun place, would go back. Great service, but food was salty (grouper) and over spiced (blackened shrimp tacos, had no flavor other than spice and the double tortillas were overkill). We really enjoyed the crab and corn bisque though and the gelato was amazing.

As it turned out, only four of our five planned guests could attend. The service was excellent even as a couple of us had arrived early with the others coming at different times. We tried the fried Macaroni and Cheese and though it was artistically prepared, it was tasty but not likely to have us order it again in the future. Once we all arrived, our waiter (sorry I do not recall his name) continued to be attentive to our every need. He refilled glasses with being asked and was there whenever we had a question or comment. I had the Blacken Shrimp Tacos and they were very good. Others seemed to be very satisfied with their "Sand Wedge" salad, Pretzel Roll Hamburger and again I do not recall what our fourth party member ordered but he seemed to enjoy it. Judging from my meal and the other's level of satisfaction, I would definitely return for another visit.
