   Really enjoyed my experience here. Every course was delicious, the seafood was fresh, and the lobster pasta was outstanding. Good cocktail list, good service, nice atmosphere as well. Would definitely come back.

    We went here for brunch on a Saturday, and everything was phenomenal. The blueberry pancakes were outstanding, I highly recommend. Upscale location, and quiet.

    Looks are everything here. Beautiful setting, but service was just fair and our food was a very mixed bag. The restaurant was pretty empty but it was still fairly slow. It has potential but is solidly in that post-pandemic camp of being overpriced for the quality of food and service. We wouldn't have tolerated this pre-pandemic, but it's kind of become the norm now. Maybe not bad for a meal in the hotel if you're staying, but for locals or tourists coming from another hotel, you can do better.

    My husband and I went for our anniversary, and we had the BEST dinner! Ashley made our experience so special by acknowledging our anniversary with a sweet note and flowers on our table when we arrived, and even gave us complimentary champagne! The food and cocktails were phenomenal. The bar and kitchen staff clearly put a lot of thought into the creation of the menu and the dining experience. The sweet potato fritters and the duck were amazing. My husband really enjoyed his truffle potato soup and the calamari pasta. And the carrot cake had so much flavor. Very highly recommend Blue Aster for any special occasion!

    Such a great experience!! My brother and I were here from out of town and booked a last minute reservation. Natalie was our waitress and we wouldn't have asked for better service. Nick was also very attentive. The bread was out of this world!! Would definitely come here again.

    We made reservations, checked in a little early and were told we would be sat within 5 minutes. Waited 15 minutes and went back to check on our table, and were told it would be another 15 minutes. I tried to cancel our reservation and the lady could no longer find the reservation to cancel. We couldn’t make another reservation on open table due to this.

    Slow service, waiter forgot what we ordered 20 mins after we ordered with him. Waited 15 mins to get water or service after being seated. Salmon was over salted and assortment of food options was limited. Bartender got our drinks wrong and tables were not spaced correctly. Staff had to squeeze through our table and had to adjust seats so they could get through.

    We are trying to make time post-pandemic to reconnect, and for us, that means a great date night at a special restaurant. Tonight we dined at Blue Aster. I had eaten there previously as part of a work retreat, and when I raved about it to my wife, we decided to make reservations for ourselves. Our waitress, Natalie, was the most attentive, sweet, personable and knowledgeable person you could hope to encounter. She went 6 for 6 in her recommendations. We started with Truffle Potato Soup. The presentation started with the lump crab meat in the center of a bowl, and our server poured the creamy soup over it. It was apparently non-dairy (which was very difficult to tell!). We also had the Crispy Octopus, which was crispy and seared as advertised, but tender in the middle. It was plated with wilted greens and a bean and potato spread. This was quite spectacular. Octopus is hard to wrangle, and we highly recommend both apps. For mains, we got the Grilled Fillet with butter and a potato purée. We were sold when Natalie informed us that there were grating truffle over it for an up charge. I got the seared scallops with faro and quinoa. My wife said the Fillet was the best she had ever had. Apparently it was grilled and not sous vide, which was hard to imagine as it was a thick cut and done perfectly medium rare. My scallops were tender, and, mixed with the strong textures of the grains and finished with a red grill mustard was an amazing experience. I should add that a loaf of herb brioche bread was served with the apps, and it was soft and flavorful (it was served with a bundle of herbs that were very nice). For dessert, we got the Red Wine Poached Pear, and The Lemon. The Lemon is a marvelous mixture of mousse and lemon curd, which is fashioned into the shape of a real lemon, the finishing touch being candied mint leaves. My wife devoured the Pear, which combined sweet, savory, and tangy notes, with the red wine sauce. It was a beautiful time!

    Menu was great, food was bland and overpriced. The filet was tiny and under seasoned (salt!), but well cooked. The caesar salad dressing had no taste. The oysters were the best part of the meal by far. I've had better carrot cake from Publix. My wife had the salmon and, while well cooked, was tasteless. The chard and beans were the best part of her plate. Very disappointing dining experience at a Conrad.

    My friends and I had a great experience at Blue Aster. The food was amazing. Our waiter Arrik was awesome. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and made some great suggestions. The cocktails were mediocre but the shots were heavy. Arrik made it a worth while experience, we’ll definitely return!

    2 appetizers were ordered. The servers delivered the wrong appetizer to me and this was sent back immediately. The correct appetizer then came. When I paid the bill, I was wrongly charged for both of them My wife received her appetizer 20 minutes later. The main courses were ok. The overcharge was noted when I looked over the bill when I got home. It is very difficult to get this corrected and no supervisors are ever around to answer the phone. Even worse, I noticed a fake charge on my Amex Hilton credit card for $304 2 days later, charged to the hotel restaurant. It has been difficult to get this removed since no one answers the phone in the financial division so I had to get in touch with the credit card company directly. If you go to this restaurant, realize that there are risks.

    We had an amazing experience! Our server James was the best! He gave us many recommendations and we loved them all! Cocktails we had the blue aster! Order it! The octopus is out of this world delicious! We had the large seafood tower, it was a decent portion size for all of us to split. The scallop ceviche was one of my favorites! We had the snapper and duck for entrees! I highly recommend them both. Over all the ambience was lovely, staff was excellent, and Chef Joanna was a pleasure to meet and talk to about the food! We will absolutely be back! Thanks for a great evening!

    I was excited to try this place! But a lot of the staff & servers give off the vibe that perhaps, this is the first nice/formal job they’ve had. Our server struggled to make eye contact, never knew when to take our plates for the next course, never asked if we wanted drinks, & was not familiar with the menu at all, it’s was just kind of a mess! You expect better service when you spend this kind of money. But some of the food was beautiful. I started with the scallop ceviche, which was perfect in every way! For my main, I ordered their calamari pasta, which I was told by my server, was not rings but a leg of octopus. But it was truly calamari rings in pasta, which was just okay. My friend ordered the Miso Salmon which was wonderful. The drinks were not good, but they informed us that their normal bartender was not around, for whatever reason. Our valet, though sweet, seemed a bit clueless on etiquette for opening doors & such. Overall, I’m not sure I’d go back for the price. There are many other spots in town that are far better quality service & food.

    We love sitting in the lounge in front of the fireplace. We had a nice meal and enjoyed our family. Our complaint was our waiter was having just an OK day. We asked for something on a lunch menu and he said we had to order off brunch only. Hospitality is the key to service.

    Mediocre all around except the service which was fantastic. From bread to dessert, all apps, entrees and dessert were just mediocre. Filet was far too salty but cooked well, bread “service” as they call it was like mom’s dinner rolls, scallops were tasty but portion was very small (3), burrata had a mustard vinegar-like dressing that wasnt appealing, dessert (lemon) was blah but beautiful presentation. Cocktails were good.
