Botanical is an indoor/outdoor lounge concept located in the bustling Glenwood South entertainment district. We specialize in craft cocktails and have a full tapas style menu, as well as a functional event space for your company parties, birthdays, and wedding receptions. Capability to be indoor/outdoor venue by opening the bifold doors that run the length of the entire venue to the covered outdoor patio. Enjoy our amazing Brunch Buffet every Sunday 11am to 3 pm on our comfortable velvet couches or on our beautiful patio before your night gets started!

Don't forget to check out our award-winning rooftop bar called Highgarden. This is a completely open-air concept with an amazing view of downtown Raleigh. With plenty of cabana and high-top seating, you will get the Miami rooftop experience in the center of downtown Raleigh. Find a table by one of our gas fire pits and enjoy a cocktail tree while watching the sunset!

My husband and I were celebrating 23yrs of marriage and decided to try this place we had never heard of but the ambience and pictures seemed nice. When we get there they have no record of our reservation. I had requested a special note on the table for my husband nothing there. We had to wait at bar until a table became available. But the jazz is good and atmosphere so I’m trying to stay in good spirits. It took awhile to be acknowledged by a server & not her fault it’s only one person taking care of everyone until later that night. The menu has little options so we both ordered a steak which is 40$ and we ordered drinks. Don’t order anything that’s a martini or juice added because they put very little alcohol. I had both martinis sent back because they were juice cups and the manhattan was nice. These drinks were over priced. Our steaks took forever to come out and our appetizers were good, however when our steaks arrived they were literally raw in the inside. I’m trying to keep my cool. My husband and I asked for something they hopefully couldn’t get wrong wings. When we get the bill it’s almost 200$. No manager has come over until I asked. His name is Brandon seemed very nice but his way of making things right was giving us champagne? (No) our wings and most if not all of our meal should have been taken care of. Our reservation was@7:15 & @9:15 we were still waiting for steaks to come out raw. We explained this was our anniversary and it was nice having the champagne toast and dessert but our meal should have been heavily discounted or taken care of period. The downstairs was lovely atmosphere with the jazz. The second floor was supposed to be R&B but if you’re 40 and sophisticated that’s not the scene you want. I was looking for 90’s early 2000’s R&B. 3rd floor is techno not my vibe. So downstairs was my lane. This spot has real potential if they are looking to elevate. Their should be a strict dress code, and the age for a mature crowd should be 35+ at least.

Came here to celebrate my 24th birthday! We had a wonderful time and our server was amazing! Love the indoor and outdoor atmosphere. The live music was nice, but a little loud for conversation.

O my what an amazing rooftop experience. Gave my husband a surprise dinner. It was everything and more. Chicken croquet, shrimp with this amazing dip, asparagus and so much more we ordered came out hot and delicious. Our server as on point never miss a beat. The owner/ manager came over introduced himself by then the party was lit. Cherie Berry o my yiu have to try. Most of us substitute with grey goose or tequila. Should be called the. Creeper.. lol. This gem was perfect great location. Parking not so great. I got a ticket right next door to the place but hey it was worth it. Had reservation for 6pm we left around 9. Bill was about 600 which isn't bad at all for all the food and drinks we had. This is the place to be. Huge thank you Botanical lounge for making my husband 45th a hit. See you soon!

Could be much better. Inconsistent drinks. Service sometimes good. Jazz was pretty good. Rooftop is laughable. Would say more but it won’t survive

We made a reservation for our anniversary and we were told that we needed to wait for our table while they put us at the back of the outdoor area. The noise level was very loud due to the bar next door and the garbage bins. The outdoor area smelled of sewer gas at various times so it wasn’t very pleasant. The wait staff and manager was nice. In hindsight I should have requested a seat inside.

My friends & I went on Saturday evening to celebrate my Birthday & we had the best experience!! ❤️ Brandon made our evening just exceptional & our waitress, Rosalia, was also wonderful. The food, atmosphere & people were just great & we'll definitely be going back! Thank you, Botanical Lounge, for making our experience beautiful! 🥰

My reserved table was not reserved, thus resulting in management having to take seating from another table for ours. They said they were short staffed this night. The server I had would just completely disappear while the other server was running around the entire first level. Took a long time for someone to bring us a menu and to close out. The music was nice though and the ambiance was good
