Unfortunately, our experience at Boteco do Manolo was extremely disappointing, especially because of the terrible customer service. The waiter who was serving our table actually complained when I ordered a beer, simply because I had declined one just two minutes earlier. He seemed annoyed that I had changed my mind and that my request interrupted a personal conversation he was having with his friends at another table. As a paying customer, I found this attitude extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. It felt like serving us was an inconvenience rather than his job. One of the main reasons we chose this restaurant was because they had advertised that they would be showing a soccer game. However, the game was broadcast without any sound, which was very disappointing and completely took away from the experience we were expecting. To make matters worse, the food took an excessively long time to arrive. We came expecting a fun atmosphere, good food, and the chance to enjoy a soccer game, but instead received poor service, unnecessary attitude from our waiter, and a frustrating experience overall. Customers should never feel like they are bothering the staff simply by placing an order. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend Boteco do Manolo, and I have no intention of returning.

It was GREAT to watch the Brazilian match. The servers were incredible and the food came VERY quickly!

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at Manolo. We made a reservation for Mother’s Day and only upon arrival were we informed that prices were higher because of the holiday, something that was neither disclosed on the website nor mentioned during the reservation process. Because we considered this lack of transparency to be an abusive practice, we decided to cancel the reservation and leave. It was also disappointing to see that the restaurant removed the soda refill option and now charges high prices for a single can. Transparency and respect for customers should come first.

Food was fantastic, service was great and the cost was outstanding. Some people might be put off that the menu was listed “for two”, but my wife of 40 years who would never allow me to order the same thing whenever we went out thought it was terrific. A definite thumbs up!

Reservation didn't prove useful, as the worst table in the house was given to us. Staff talked in Portuguese and was impossible to explain this. Luckily Flavio the waiter was very helpful and saved our evening.
