We visited this restaurant for the first time and we're dissapointed with the experience. The food was Good but overpriced, the service was slow and we had to wait a long time for the main course to arrive. We were not informed until the last minute that the dessert my wife had ordered at the start of our meal wasn't available. This wasn't a cheap meal and with the wine very expensive also we did expect more from our night out , hence we will not be visiting this restaurant again.

The pizzas were poor and tasteless, the scallops were minute, however my lasagna was excellent. The restaurant was noisy with a number of small children allowed to run riot. Unfortunately I will not be repeating the experience.

The food was a mixture of lovely and overcooked, so a bit 'hit and miss' as was the service- staff were very attentive to one particular table (who seemed to be an off duty staff member) to the point where we were waiting for our table to be cleared and pay for 15mins despite four or five members of staff passing us to chat to the other table. Food is very expensive for the quality delivered.

Possibly the worst service I've had in a restaraunt, definitely the worst I've had at Bottelinos. We were seated by the greeter and given menus but never had a waiter come over to take our drink order. We had to ask the greeter if we could place our order and decided to place our food order with our drink order as we doubted anyone would come over at all. Drinks service was slow, but food came quickly. A young waiter came over and took a couple of our plates without asking if we were done and he never returned to take the rest. Another waitress came over and asked if we were done and took the rest. Had to ask the greeter again for dessert menus. Ordered desserts and drinks, after 20 minutes the desserts turned up and the drinks didn't. One of my party went up to the bar to collect our drinks. Not once did a waiter or waitress come over and ask to take our order, we had to ask every time. Overall we had been served by 4 or 5 different staff members which isn't the norm at a restaurant. Terrible experience

The food at Bottelino's was pretty good. We went for the Italian options rather than the Sunday roast and found everything to our satisfaction. Good size portions. The service was a little slow but it was quite busy so understandable. The final bill was quite high but I suppose for the quality it was worth it.

This restaurant is okay the prices aren't too bad and the food is okay. It does lack atmosphere we went on a Saturday evening and although there was a piano playing which was very nice the lighting was very bright. The service was quite slow as well even though the restaurant was not very busy. We had to keep catching the waitresses attention to ask for more drinks and to ask for the bill she wasn't very attentive.

I have been to two of the other branches of Bottelinos many times, but this was the first time in the Yate branch after my son requested pizza to follow his 6th birthday party. Booked in advance, very good service and lovely food. So well priced too (we ate at lunch time).
