On behalf of our family at the Brass Buckle, I would like to welcome you. The Brass Buckle, once known as the Conyngham Hotel has been located here at this location since circa 1805. To put things in prospective, who was the president of the United States in 1805?

Our unique dining and food, is what makes the Brass Buckle so different. Our food, is not 100% authentic Mexican but is a type of fusion or infused continental with south west and Mexican flavors, try some of our amazing food from Alligator Tacos, Lobster Tacos, Mexicali Steak, Burritos, and so much more

We pride our self in using only the freshest ingredients, as well as still keeping our eye on healthy whole foods. Many of our foods are also gluten free, since we do not use flour but rice flour and corn starch.

The Brass Buckle is located just south of Wilkes-Barre and north of Hazleton. Conveniently located off interstates 80 and 81 and routes 93 and 309.

Allison is the best! Food was excellent, had cheese and pork gluten free enchiladas. Melts in your mouth. I got heat level 3 which is perfect.

We sat on the outside patio on a beautiful evening. Our server was excellent, he was friendly and attentive. As always, our dinner was delicious.

The waitress was terrible!! We had to ask 3 times for silverware, just gave us one menu for 4 people,asked for drink refill, never came bk til later, didn't bring straws. She kept disappearing and it was not busy!! She took order without writing down and since I have to eat Gluten free and I wanted to omit some things from the salad I was a little worried she did not write down. I and one of the other people at table asked for no onions, my salad and his a sandwich. I started eating my salad and it didn't taste right, I thought maybe was the dressing until i saw pieces of onion in the salad !! Made me wonder if chicken was made gluten free.And the lettuce was mushy. Our friends sandwich was loaded with onions. It took the waitress forever to come back. I showed her onions. I asked her to take away and that I was not paying for it, At first she said she did request no onions and then she came bk and said it was her fault. That she was taking my salad and his sandwich off bill. She never asked me if I wanted anything else to eat Let me say I have never had any problems like this when Allison waits on us, which is all the time. I left hungry and with a headache

My wife and I were impressed by the menu options. The food was good the service was great but the Bill was shocking. She had a seafood burrito, and a Margarita. I had two tacos and a beer, and we shared an appetizer of four small taquitos. With a 18% tip, our meal cost $95.00 For Mexican food an appetizer and two drinks, that is ridiculously high priced. Both meals came with a very small portion of rice and beans, and they were very dry and tasteless. We love Mexican food and have had much better and much cheaper in several other establishments. I would not recommend this restaurant.
