Servers were very good. However, after looking forward to dining there after hearing about it about six months ago. We left a little underwhelmed. Unfortunately. Value for quality just didn’t seem to hit if I’m gonna spend the amount of money on a meal that we did. I want to be excited, just didn’t happen.

I took some clients out for dinner before a hockey game. The server was very friendly and professional, the service was quick for drinks and appetizers but delayed a little for our meals. We still managed to make the game on time but it was close. No fault of the restaurant, it gets very busy pre game. Overall a great experience, delicious food and drinks.

Everything was good. However my waiter and his manager did not know about loyalty rewards and could not credit my account on a $350 tab. Not a huge deal but your staff should know this.

Came here for 40th birthday. It was loud and half the tables were not cleared around as the night went on. Staff didn’t seem to care. Caesar salad was soaked with dressing. Steak was overpriced for what you got. It was really disappointing. Everyone was dressed very causal. We were expecting a high class setting. Not a good spot to celebrate an occasion. Too expensive for the bad ambiance and low quality food. Great mashed potatoes.

Hi Ryan, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re glad the mashed potatoes were a highlight and appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on your experience. The food was simply not good and a total disappointment. We did not have steaks but other offerings on the menu. We had to go with our 3rd choice as they were out of choices 1 and 2. On a Thursday and a game night? This was a business dinner prior to an Oilers game. Out of town guests that frankly need to be impressed by what Edmonton has to offer in terms of dinning were grossly disappoint as was I. Never be back.

Hi Jodie, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us! Game nights are always exciting, and some of our popular dishes can sell out quickly during these busy evenings. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and will pass your comments along to our team as we continue working to create a great dining experience for all our guests. We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again soon! Best regards, Braven Team

I loved my time at Braven. Our servers were outstanding. The food was great. Only hiccup was my steak that was overcooked but our servers fixed it right away and it came back perfect. Ambiance is definitely perfect. Restaurant is quiet and nice. The aesthetic is great as well. We overall had a great time

Came in for the Thanksgiving dinner and was a little sad to see that the roast beef was not available. They did change it to ribeye. (I Don’t eat steak) my husband got the ribeye cooked medium, and it was maybe medium rare at best. I got the short rib and that was really good! Her server was friendly acknowledge of the menu but did forget the drink I believe because it took a long time and she kept having to come back and say “oh did you order this right? I’ll go get it right away” instead of just saying that she forgot to ring it in. It was a bit busy so again no worries usually it’s five out of five here though.
BravenRespondió el 19 de octubre de 2026
Thank you for celebrating Thanksgiving with us, Ashleigh! We’re glad you enjoyed the short rib, though we’re sorry some aspects of your experience fell short of what you’ve come to expect from us. We appreciate your feedback on the menu changes, steak preparation, and drink service, and we’ll be sure to share it with our team. We truly value your continued support and hope to welcome you back for the five-star experience you know and love! Braven Team
