We enjoyed our evening at the Caminito, as it was quiet and comfortable. Our waitress was nice and worked hard to make sure we enjoyed our evening. The food was good, but we all commented it could have been a little warmer.

The food was very good. We had steaks, salmon and salad. The servings are large and we took home leftovers. Service was great. Overall it was a nice dinner.

Great, great place. Small, energetic, amazing food! This worked out perfectly for our meal before a concert at the Academy of Music...and an easy walk to get to the theater. We used to frequent Caminito more often before COVID took over and for whatever reason we just didn't go up to Nhamp as much. We discovered a gift card that had not need used so we made reservations and so glad we did. Best excuse to bring us back. Warm and friendly welcome in, comfortable table. It is an energetic setting and can get very noisy and difficult to have a conversation...the food makes up for that. All our orders were outstanding, perfect temperature on the meat, nice veggies and the lobster tail with the special was an outstanding accompaniment. Kaitlyn was our server...kind, professional and ever so patient with our 1000 and 1 questions that we had. She made a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great meal with friends. Highly recommend!

This was our second time dining at Caminito. The first was with two of our kids. This was an anniversary dinner for the two of us. Great ambiance and service. Amazingly well cooked filet with flavorful sides. We’ll be back again when we are back in town.

Sorry to have to leave a middling review. We visit this place once or twice a year for occasions but this was probably the last one. Quality of food preparation has declined a bit in recent years. Yesterday both of our steaks were overcooked. My wife ordered the special, a dry aged filet, medium-rare to medium, it came out barely medium-well in the center and well off center. She sent it back and got one that was done medium. My ribeye, which I asked for medium rare, was basically medium-well. I didn't send back but it was overdone. This happened last time we were there, too, except we didn't send anything back. Whoever was working the grill didn't have a good sense of doneness at all. Sending one entree back and not the other kind of throws off the whole meal. Wine came out late, too, after entrees were served. Partly my fault, should have asked for it to come before so we'd have it open ahead of time.

We visited on a Thursday night; it was pretty quiet with a few people at the bar, 1 or 2 inside tables with guests and 2 other parties seated outside. We opted to sit outdoors since it was nice weather. We were surprised that the bartender, who greeted us also seated us and took our order! It seems he did everything but cook the food. I was happy with my meal of filet and vegetable skewers with a lobster tail added to make it the night's special. My husband thought his sirloin with gorgonzola sauce was just ok; he found it to be a bit bland. He had greater expectations considering it's a steakhouse. He did enjoy the cast iron carrots and mashed potatoes that accompanied his steak though. We ordered beverages and my cocktail coupe was maybe 2/3 full, which was disappointing. We were never asked how our meals were despite the server passing by several times as he took care of a table near us. Granted, we saw him enough to call him over if we had an issue but thought it was unusual that he never inquired. In any event, it was a nice night to dine outdoors and we were entertained by the activity we saw in the street.
