    Had a reservation for 6pm and was seeing a play at 7:30. At 7:10 we still had not received our food which was an hour after we ordered! Our food got to our seats at 7:12 and I had to scarf my meal down so we could walk to the theater by 7:20. Very disappointed it took so long to get our food. 2 other tables got up and walked out because their food was taking over an hour too.

    So disappointing! We had reservations at 6 pm with intentions of having dinner before a 7:30 show across the street. By 7:05 we still hadn't received our food, nor did the other 2 tables next to us that were already seated when we got there, who also were attending the 7:30 show. We had all inquired with our waitress to make sure we would be able to eat before the show, and she said yes. When we were the only 3 tables left in the restaurant who had not been served, she told us everything was being plated & brought out. We were all standing in the concession line at the show, looking for something to eat since none of us got dinner. There were 2 in our party and we only ordered a burger & a sandwich. I understand there's a labor shortage. But we should have been told there was no way we would be served in time to attend a 7:30 show. The acoustics in this place amplify sound, making it way too loud for a normal conversation. Overall a very unpleasant way to start a date night. I would not recommend this place. Ever.

    The waitress spilled my martini when she was putting it on the table. I expected she would come back with a towel to wipe it up but never did. Not wanting to use my napkin (cloth) I took one from another table and wiped it up myself. Also I’m still put off by being charged for half and half for my coffee. Just sayin.

    Our server, Ricky did a great job of getting us seated and keeping us informed when things took a little longer than he felt it should have. Unique cocktails and delicious food. A small hidden gym in downtown Sacramento.

    Our delicious meals were served in a reasonable time by a very attentive waitress. She asked if we were going to the show and gave us a discount. We will return.

    Our food was delicious but unfortunately the service was very slow. We waited 45 minutes to get our first order of drinks and almost 1.5 hours for our food (we ordered food & drinks at the same time). We were going to a show so we had to eat and run even though we got there 1.5 hours before our show, and had a reservation. Overall, food was great. I recommend chicken malfatti, salmon, and the mango jalapeño margarita.

    Was a nice restaurant and the waiter (possibly the owner/manager) was pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately, we had a reservation and did not get waited on right away, other large parties were waited on first. There was a conference so the restaurant was not prepared for it. We ended up having to get our checks and to-go boxes as our food did not come in the hour we were seated. That being said the restaurant had great ambiance, friendly staff, and amazing food. Even eaten cold, in the back row of the meeting room, my mushroom melt was delicious.

    Service was excellent! We were greeted at the door immediately and shown to our table, my Dad has a walker and the host helped fold it up and tucked it away for us so it wouldn’t be in our (or anyone else’s) way. Our server was so nice, got our drink orders and asked specific questions about how they wanted them (spicy or not) and got our food orders and updated them to each specific request (some of us are picky lol). The food came out timely and everything was hot, not like it had been sitting there! Food was excellent and not too large, perfect portions! It was a bit loud but that just shows everyone who was there was having a great time. We were all impressed and pleased with the entire experience with the food, staff and ambiance. We will be back!

    Service was very good! Went with a total of 6 people. About half of us enjoyed our food, the others were underwhelmed or the food was cold. Bloody Mary’s were good!

    We went to the Capitol Garage for a Father's Day brunch. It was our first time and we really enjoyed it! The outdoor area is super cute and sunny. The food was pretty amazing, especially the French toast! Oh and we loved Bloody Mary! We will be back!

    Our server was very friendly despite appearing that she was tending to the majority of the tables. The food was flavorful & good portion. The only complaints I had chicken in sandwich probably should've been pounded a bit to fit the bun. Temperature was a bit too lukewarm for my taste. Otherwise, good dining experience

    Two of the main courses, tofu rice, could have been warmer. Flavors were good. Service was very attentive. We picked it for closeness to Music Circus.

    Food took 30 + minutes to arrive while we were literally the only table outside on the sidewalk. Tables were never wiped down prior to seating. Server was nice, but would disappear for quite a a bit as it looked like they were severely understaffed. So definitely understandable. Food was ok. Would come back just for drinks.

    I have been coming to Capitol Garage for decades! It is always dependable for great food and atmosphere. We enjoyed our Mother's Day brunch with my wife, my mom, and our daughters.

    We like this restaurant. It was very loud and crowded and the A/C was blasting on us, which I know cannot always be helped. It took along time to get our order, but the food was good. The food looked like it sat under the heat lamps for a while before it was delivered. The waitress seemed busy and was not very attentive but she did the job. Just as we were about to leave they blasted music so loud it sped up our departure. We did have a nice time, despite all these things.

    We waited for an hour and a half for our food. I had to leave without eating and my friends stayed and got my food to go. The salad I ordered was supposed to have mozzarella and did not. Never will go again.

    It took an hour to get our food because everyone came for lunch just before a Broadway show. He says that happens all the time. But we made it on time anyway. Fantastic food and service.

    Our server was nice, but we didn’t see her very often. Our group sat down at 11:40, and we ordered about five minutes later. We finally got our food over an hour later at 12:45. During that time, we were told maybe twice that our food “would be coming up soon in a few minutes.” My boyfriend wanted a second beer, and since we didn’t see our server anywhere, he had to go to the bar area to buy it. Since we had tickets to a musical at 1:30, we just paid our check at the same time our server brought our food. We were done eating by about 1:10. In other words, we spent twice as long waiting as we did eating. The food was good, but not good enough to warrant a 60 minute wait.

    Great location. Food was excellent. Friendly service. No nonsense atmosphere. Excellent value for the meal. Our first time there and definitely not the last. At least on a Friday night, reservations a must.

    They were out of some things and the food took about 45 mins from our order, but the waitress was on top of things and the food and drinks were great!
