Chef's Journey
From Catalonia to Singapore

CasaBites was created to bring the rich flavours of Spanish cuisine to Singapore in a welcoming café setting.

Executive Chef Eduard Castellarnau grew up in the Catalan town of Escaló where he learned the foundations of traditional Spanish cooking from his family.

He later refined his skills under Michelin-starred Chef Nandu Jubany and gained experience at El Celler de Can Roca, one of the world’s most celebrated restaurants.

These experiences shaped his philosophy of honouring tradition while elevating it through culinary craftsmanship.

Today, CasaBites brings these authentic Spanish flavours into a modern café concept designed for everyday dining.

Food was alright but portions are very small. Could be more generous with the portions for the price. Service is good with a very friendly, young pretty Filipino waitress who was attentive and friendly.

A bit disappointed that the seafood paella did not use Bomba rice which shows the authenticity.Neverthless,the food portion & varieties for the Casa Delux is reasonable priced for 1 pax.

We came here as we were recommended this place by another Spaniard. Oh boy, our experience was totally off the mark. We ordered patata bravas which was soggy oily fried potatoes, the grambas in garlic oil had no seasoning, the jamon on toast was fine, the seafood paella was average. The sangrias were terrible. The first round came super sweet and tasted like a mocktail. We asked them to doctor it and make it less sweet. The barista tried her best but it was still terrible. It tasted like a drink out of a cardboard box. Very poor experience here.
