Enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the sounds of 4 train crossing Manhattan Bridge. Service was outstanding as was the food. Price is significant but was worth it for a special occasion.
Bar staff were very helpful, we ended up ordering pizzas while we waited 45 minutes for our table. When we finally sat we didn’t get menus. Servers were extremely inattentive; would make eye contact and walk away.
Absolutely delish.very attentive staff!!! We enjoyed everything we ordered
Food not worth the price.
Alas; Cecconi's Dumbo appears to be slipping. We made a reservation for 9pm, arrived on time, were made to wait 20 minutes, the bar was understaffed, we had to ask for a coat-check as we waited, and a steak ordered medium was delivered well-done. Bad experience.
My favorite place. Lovely setting, vibrant atmosphere, great staff and lovely food.
Great food service and vibe. Went for brunch.
Great food. Better people watching.
Great location and thank you to Shay, our waiter for a great experience.
Really delicious food! Loved each dish...the standout was the whole head of cauliflower with much yumminess on top and below...I also enjoyed the Sancerre by the glass...good pizza and good pasta...good place for dinner...enjoy!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE EVEN BETTER FOOD AMBIANCE WAS LITTY DEFINITELY POPPIN
vista excepcional, muy buena la comida y muy buen servicio
We loved it, it was a beautiful place, service was perfect and so was food. I highly recommend It.
Bit disappointed we were seated in the bar, despite a reservation. Requested to be moved to the dining room (apparently, quite an effort). Sat in the middle table which had tremendous traffic (waitstaff, busers, managers) all zooming around all sides of the table - not exactly relaxing.
Food was average. We felt quite rushed despite our appetizers not arriving timely and not even close to the same time for the three of us (maybe that is why the calamari was cold and tough?). We all thought our entrees had much to be desired.
View and setting were both cool, though if you're not at a good table, you can't really appreciate. Overall, unfortunately, disappointing.
Overall, it was very mediocre. Long way to travel for the experience. Overall, disappointing.
Definitely request an outdoor table if the weather permits. The waiter was lovely, excellent service, attentive, provided great recommendations. Food was great (even better the next day for leftovers!). Looking forward to going back with friends.
took my Mom to Cecconis, we loved it, from the ambiance, atmosphere food, service, staff, everything was just perfect.
Great food and excellent service!
I went to Cecconi’s with 6 friends for a birthday dinner and we had a wonderful experience. We all loved our meals and our server had the best personality and kept us entertained.
We had a terrible experience at Cecconi's. It took 15 minutes to get a drink at the bar, we were seated 30 minutes late from our reservation time, some of our entrees came out cold and they completely forgot one of the orders and then brought the wrong dish out after that. They tried to make up for it with complimentary desserts but it was still a $400+ dinner for 4 people which took 5 hours from start to finish. Lastly, the dining table was essentially as high as a coffee table and my husband woke up and couldn't walk because his back was messed up from not being able to put his legs under the table.
I was looking forward to going to this restaurant and made the reservation a month in advance. I won't be going back.
It was great!
It’s cold. Wear a jacket to dinner
Great experience overall!
Great place to go to for a special event! Go on Monday and ask for a "key"! You will not be disappointed!
It was amazing will deff be coming back!
One of our favorite restaurants, especially on a gorgeous night❣️
it was absolutely wonderful! great service, ambience, food, drinks, and VIEWS! i brought two friends here to celebrate one of their bdays and it was the most special dinner and a great night of catching up over amazing food enjoying the view.
Food was okay - not spectacular. A restaurant meant to attract tourist in DUMBO. Only one special was offered on Friday night! The place was too loud and the waiter did not understand English well, so had to repeat our orders. I’m not sure I would back.
Great service! Greater atmosphere!
Great food and service.
The servers were observant and kind. However, they gathered nearby our table chatting. We had requested a window table and shown a table behind the wall/curtain but when we complained, got a table sort of second row from the window. The food was less than what expected. My eggplant was burnt on the surface and overly salted. I did not complain until the end. We did get a “on the house” Limoncello which was a lovely gesture. The best part is the international atmosphere and the partial view. I may also include I was pleased to not see a female at the reception desk - a few months ago we (2)did not have a reservation and stood in line. In front of us we’re about 12 guests - they were all told there was no table available. Our turn came and I asked if there was availability by the bar, and she replied yes. Then I asked about the adjacent room, and she said yes. So she led us to a 2 guest table on the corner near the window, I said it was fine, she said “no you can’t sit down you HAVE TO go back with me to the reception.” We did but could not understand why. She was ill suited to deal with guests if anything. How could she turn away several guests when there was numerous tables free. Granted, I understand they could be reserved but her demeanor was negative. She was short and thin with blondish hair.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to both praise and complain. Again, the waitstaff were all welcoming and efficient and good natured.
Dined with a party of 4 in the main dining room. The space is beautiful, the vibe is sceney, and the food and cocktails are good (if not mind-blowing or inventive). However, service is inattentive and slow. One diner's entree arrived 30 minutes before the other 3. I've tried dinner here several times and while the food itself is enjoyable, the experience never is. Not worth the price for standard Italian fare in a city with better options.
Food was okay. Service was horrible. Hostess smelled. Waiter brought evian and opened the bottle when we asked for tap. Appetizers came, entrees took forever. It was a bad experience overall despite food not being bad.
Excellent service great food and ambiance. Very smiling staff 🤗
Just brilliant. Was for my 50th birthday. Came from London made the nyc trip. Staff were amazing food was just stunning
We just left Cecconi’s. Despite feeling cautious because of the mixed reviews we decided to go. Let me start by saying the atmosphere is beautiful! And the restaurant is huge. So much to look at, especially if you get a window seat (we didn’t). As soon as we walked in the 4 hostess were polite and we only waited about 5 min for our table. I was super hopeful as we walked past empty tables over looking the east river that we would score one...didn’t happen. Instead we were taking to I guess the second room off the main bar. Our table was a long couch on the wall that was for 4 tables and a singe seat on the other side. I took the couch and my husband the seat. He’s 6 foot and quite skinny and had a hard time fitting in his seat. The tables are extremely close to each other, so getting in and out to use the restroom my entire body was on top of the table next to us. Our table was also wobbly. Soo time passes and we finally get a waiter. He seemed nice but a bit overwhelmed. Which was off because there must have been at least 50+ waiters working. We both ordered Aperol Spritz to start...nothing crazy. For apps we ordered the $49 truffle pizza and a veggie salad. The pizza was nowhere near what we expected. Especially since it was covered in truffles. It was greasy and the crust was well well done. It wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t order it again. The salad, I wouldn’t even call that. It was a bowl with a half a cut or arugula in the middle and the other veggies around it. Wouldn’t recommend it. Now at this point I took a sip of my drink and as I placed it down the stem broke in half and glass was all over the table. He did eventually get me a new one, but bizarre. Our entrees were sub par also. The steak was tough, my kale pesto was nothing crazy. We did get the cauliflower to share with entrees but it came after we were done eating. $285 later I left sad and disappointed. Don’t waste your money on the food, I’d say enjoy the bar and atmosphere. Prob nice to eat outside.
Love this place every single time. Ambiance is incredible. Food is always terrific. Champagne in my favorite crystal glass keeps on making me come back for more. I should not write this amazing review because I will not be to get a table next time :(
Great place to go and sit outside on a nice day to view the river and Manhattan bridge. Inside is also lovely and there are plenty of windows and natural light. Highly recommend the tagliatelle. Good wine choices but expect to pay NYC prices. Reservations encouraged, especially for Sunday brunch.
a fantastic recommendation! went to celebrate our birthdays and were not dissapointed!
