China Garden has been serving Chinese, Cantonese and Dim Sum cuisine for the past 30 years. You will receive a warm welcome at our restaurant, conveniently situated on the corner of Preston Street with a great view of the sea.
We have a fully licensed bar and a capacity of 150, offering the ideal setting for an intimate meal with family or friends, but also the ability to cater for private parties. Our wide variety of delicious Dim Sum Dishes are served daily 12:00 - 16:00 while the A La Carte Menu runs right through the day from 12:00.

We went for my friend’s birthday lunch. Although the restaurant was quiet (Monday), we received a warm welcome with prawn crackers and dips. Our food was excellent - aromatic duck, crispy chilli beef, chicken with ginger & spring onions, and rice. The staff brought out an ice cream with candle & sang ‘happy birthday’!

We had a great time at China Garden for dimsum. They have all the top hitters. It was a great meal for the whole family.

Went on a Saturday night with a group of 8. The place was packed, always a good sign. We were not disappointed. Excellent service, superb food. We will be back.

This restaurant is our go to Chinese restaurant and has been for many years, the food is really nice here and service is good with lovely staff who are fun & happy. We ordered the set menu for 3 people which was lovely with plenty of food , the crispy duck was lovely as were the other dishes . My only niggle with this restaurant is the drinks because as usual in most restaurants now, the alcoholic drinks are expensive so I was disappointed to be served a mediocre, gin & tonic in an everyday tumbler served with tonic already poured which lets it down in my opinion, it should come in a nicer glass with more ice and lemon/ lime and a mixer in a bottle I usually just have some water & a bottled beer but as it was our sons birthday, I decided to have a nicer drink before the meal and wish I hadn’t, I’ll have a bottled beer next time.

Such a great place with amazing food. They gave me free ice cream and sang happy birthday to me which was lovely. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good quality chinese food
