   A beautiful restaurant with amazing service. We ordered the Caesar salad, the oysters, the fillet, and the swordfish. Also, did not leave without dessert. I had the banana smash, and my colleague had the Tres leches strawberry the drinks were really good. Highly recommend.

   Service was wonderful. The Delmonico steak (chef’s way) was delicious, and the Tater Tots and Caviar was inspired. We also enjoyed the banana dessert and - perhaps especially - the potato soup with lardons.

   Food was good! We got the Holy Sh** Breakfast! It was plenty for the 2 of us! Everything came out fresh, they didn’t have our bacon so they substituted home fries which was very delish! I would order that extra when I go back! The mimosas were great ratio!! It was Sunday afternoon, and the group at the table near us was a little loud but they were having a good time so no biggie!

   Stopped in on yesterday for a bite to eat. We weren't aware that they were still serving brunch at 3:30pm but not a biggie as we were hungry. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. The restaurant itself was beautiful and was seemingly packed. I hate to say this, but the food left A LOTTTT to be desired. It was very underwhelming to say the least. I felt we were cheated as I could have made a better breakfast in my kitchen. The eggs, potatoes, bacon, omelets, pancakes, etc. were pretty bland.... no seasoning whatsoever. We had to ask for salt & pepper to season the food. I'm not sure how it is for dinner, but we won't be returning for brunch.

   The food was amazing I had the burger and Brussels. Im usually not a burger guy but it was cooked perfectly full of flavor and juicy! The Brussels were fantastic and whoever made the sweet tea tell them THANK YOU!

    We had a nice evening out for my husband's birthday. Typically there's some acknowledgement of special occasions when a reservation is made, but that wasn't the case and I didn't press the issue. It was slow and not a busy evening for a Sunday possibly due to rain. No valet was outside either, so we parked in a nearby garage. The dinner itself was delicious and we chose the prix fix option and added a shareable side. The drinks were also top notch. The only other issue was it was freezing. It felt like for a below 40 degree evening they opted not to turn on the heat. Several patrons had on their jackets and complained of the coldness. Which made the evening a little less than stellar. Overall I would recommend for the food and drinks.

    Ate here last night before attending a show at the Belk Theater. The food was excellent and the service - both at the bar while waiting for our friends and at the table once we sat down was even better. Only minor issue was the temperature in the restaurant - it was frigid. We will definitely be back.

    We could not be happier with the meal we received. For a gourmet quality restaurants, the portions were unexpectedly large. In addition, they were delicious. I got the Arctic char, and it was amazing. The carrot cake was just luscious. We'll be back.

    The restaurant was really cold. We had the chicken and the mussels. Split a Ceasars salad. Overall the food is very good. But expensive. Doubt we'll be back.

    This was my first time at Church & Union, I have to say I was blown away. Everything was amazing. The entire experience. The food was plentiful!! To say the least. Our server was amazing, the ambiance was phenomenal. Yes I was impressed! We will definitely be back!!!

    Visited for brunch with a group of 6 on a Sunday morning. We were seated on the upper level which was great as it was quieter and warmer than the main level. The food was good and the service was fine. I would have given 4 stars except for a few things. The restaurant was very cold. We all kept our coats on throughout the meal. It was an especially cold and rainy day. And some small things such as, we asked for salt that they brought to the table but the salt shaker was empty, and by the time a server checked in the meal was pretty much over. However we were not rushed and really enjoyed the meal, we would definitely visit again if we were attending a Sunday matinee at the Blumenthal as it is so convenient.

    We had brunch at Church and Union. The place is beautiful. The food was good, nothing spectacular. We had omelet with mushrooms, pancakes and avocado toast. The coffee took a while to be served, around 10 minutes after the food. Other than that we had a good time and would go there again.

    Food was good, but sausage pasta entree was extremely small. Special of the day was different in kitchen than on the menu! Mix up there. By 10 pm, drunks invaded bar and bathrooms! Maybe it was just an off weekend.

    One of my favorite brunch spots in uptown! The ambience is great! Mimosa carafes and flights available. The CU Burger, crab cakes w/poached eggs, and the home fries are some of my menu favs. For those that dont like navigating uptown, they do occasionally have complimentary valet parking which makes life easy. However there is deck parking close by.

    Reservation time-10:15 am-seated right away Put in drink order, took 20 minutes to get water and coffee 11:00- placed order, food came out 20 minutes later Table was set for 4 instead of 5-waited almost 5 minutes to get silverware from another staff member Overall food was good only food item at a great temperature was the grits, everything else was warm. Waiter forgot to bring mimosas had to remind her.

    As a first timer to this wonderful restaurant, I would absolutely visit again and recommend it as a place for great food at a great value. There were only two things that I had an issue with; 1. the water container that we first got must have not been rinsed out completely because the water tasted like soap but the second one that was brought out was good. 2. as a small thing but for a big guy, wish they would use bigger glasses to drink water out of. Our server "Steve", was outstanding and if all the other servers are as good as he, then no one would ever have to worry about being taken care of. Great experience, great food, great staff, great value, one great place to be!!!

    The service is second to none, friendly, helpful and almost too nice. Food was very good, in retrospect I should have opted for the Hawaiian Ahi. The tonic in our drinks was flat but the wine list provided a great, reasonably priced accompaniment to our meal. The char my wife had was excellent. Great for pre-symphony meals. Thanks everyone!!

    IT was a great place for meeting up with friends, the ambiance was very lively. We had a high top table in the middle of the place. The food was quite good, but not amazing, the portions were good. I did feel the staff was a little "pushy" and kept insisting we order more drinks.

    Went for a brunch with some coworkers. Nice ambiance and everyone loved their food! Please add donuts to the menu they looked so good but only came with a huge breakfast. Will return !!

    Food was okay but check your bill . We bought 4 cocktails that should of been $14 a piece and the waitress charged $40 a piece . Won’t be returning

    Food was very good (dessert wasn't the best but the app and entrees were great. Service was horrible, don't think it was the servers fault though, they had him serving us at a table off in the back corner and then he was also working upstairs. No wonder why he was MIA so often and for so long. The table was extremely wobbly, we needed to climb under there to fix it because the server's fix didn't work. Not one single order was brought out to the right person at our table - for all the drinks and food. Ran out of two of the dessert options which two people at our table had ordered. Again, apps and entrees were great, desserts were mediocre but overall service was not impressive. I got up and got water myself for the table.

    I loved my experience at Church and Union. The drinks were great and the mimosas too. It was our first time there and we were having brunch. We got the Holy Sh*t Breakfast and the DONUTS that come with it …. I would fight over them. So good. The ambiance was superb and our waiter was sweet and very informative. We were celebrating our anniversary and they knew from the app and gave us complimentary champagne for the occasion. Just GO already and fall in love.
