Food was just ok. Nothing special. The crispy broccoli was not good: very oily and an off taste. The chocolate cake was the best of the food. It gets 4 stars.

Very bad experience with the Tri Tip. Ordered it medium and got it barely medium rare. Server took forever to come check in with us but the time she did it was cold. She did take it back saying she would have them make another but 30 seconds later returned with the same exact that she took just “cooked” longer turning into leather. Explained that we did not feel it was right to be charged for something that wasn’t eaten she refused to get a manager. By this time we were very annoyed and didn’t want to cause a scene so we just paid the bill and let. Never going back.

We had a birthday celebration at Claim Jumper. The server di. d a GREAT job. The cake brought for the birthday girl was delicious. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meals except me. I ordered the Salmon Oscar and thought my salmon was a bit overcooked and the vegetables were hammered. There was no flavor to the rice. I would not order it again. I would order something else as the food for everyone else was very good and the service was excellent.

I ordered a New York prime steak. I ordered it medium rare. When the steak came, it was well done. I sent it back. The second one came back it was raw. They took it my bill beyond that the surface was great and the atmosphere was great. But for $65, I wouldn't order a steak.

My friend was having an important birthday and she chose Claim Jumper for a lunch celebration. We met there at 11:45 and were seated immediately in a booth (as requested) and our server was very pleasant. I had pizza and she had the chicken pot pie and both were delicious! It being her birthday, at the end of our meal our server brought a large complementary slice of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, which she and I shared. It was the best piece of cake I’ve had in years! And very much appreciated! We both greatly enjoyed our experience and will definitely go back.
