Cordo is derived from the geographical word Cordillera; the parallel mountain ranges together with intervening plateaus. Cordo looks to celebrate our unique and beautiful region and the bounty it offers through fresh ingredients from local farmers and ranchers. Our kitchen is dedicated to creating an unforgettable dining experience with the freshest ingredients and detailed execution of the Executive Chef’s vision.

The Bar Program at Cordo is an experience of BC. A wide selection of BC Liquors is the foundation for creating our signature cocktails using fresh juice from BC fruit and vegetables accented by herbs from our in-house herb garden. House-made syrups from local BC products with a touch of house made bitters will be the accent that creates a unique cocktail experience. The beer and wine offerings will be of local craftsman displaying the true talent and expertise in Kamloops and surround B.C. regions.

Food and service was very good. It is a little pricey, but it is a very nice restaurant in Kamloops.

Service was very slow. Receiving food very slow. Ceasar salad had brown lettuce. Callamari was just okay. Filet mignon was very good but should he for $57. Rigatoni was just okay. Would not likely return.

After strong consideration I recently had my first ever experience dining at Cordo. Seeing many great and positive reviews from other peoples unforgettable experiences I knew I had to book them for my sister’s special day! And after dining I realized that would be the utmost unforgettable experience for me! But, not in the way I had expected. Unfortunately my sister’s birthday dinner was extremely unsatisfactory and saddening. We waited several minutes to be greeted and sat for our reservation although the restaurant had only 1 table at the time we arrived and several staff on duty. Our Table was not in a nice location, right next to a bright window and staff door. And also to mention not set up for three people which we reserved. and the settings included with what seemed to be wine glasses even though the reservation notes stated that my sister is underage since she is celebrating her 17th birthday. We were greeted by Emily our server. There was no enthusiasm or excitement for my sisters big day and only just a small happy birthday and quick mention she can pick a dessert that they will take care of. We waited awhile to get our drink orders in and had to wait quite some time to get the drinks. When getting the drinks I had an espresso and my cup was covered in coffee stains and the plate was filled with excess coffee. We ordered the calamari for the table. And when it arrived I had to request plates.. I don’t want to eat off the table to share a dish.. And the appetizer was okay, Flavour was good, combination was nice. But, I would say the dish was cooked unevenly? (some pieces crispy, some pieces soft) The mains were quite underwhelming. vegetables were undercooked, hard to chew, and to cut through. We were only checked up on once the entire meal. After finishing the dishes and putting them to the side. We waited almost 10 minutes to get server’s attention to pay. Again, the restaurant was not busy. Most unforgettable experience.
