Everything from drinks to dessert was fantastic. The bar service was exceptional. Table service was very good with only a few very minor lags. While the steak was amazing the duck was truly in a class by itself, phenomenal. We’ll definitely be returning.
Loved our server Katie. She was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. Just the right amount of checking in to see if everything was ok mixed with space to enjoy.

The hostess was so kind and sat us outside. It was a lovely evening and nice and quiet.
The restaurant was too dark, kitchen lighting too bright and decor boarder on being outdated.

Food was very good.
We sat on the deck over the C&O canal (although the high hedge blocked any view of the canal when seated). The tables were well-spaced and private, perfect for COVID-era dining. After a slow start, the service was very attentive and efficient. Our server knew the menu and shared useful information, including when he directed us to the grilled beets (delivered still cooking on a mini-hibachi) accompanied by a delicious labneh sauce. The chimichurri coated grilled chicken was truly delicious — tender and crisp. The mac and cheese among the best ever served in a restaurant. The spectacular desserts included a cherry baked Alaska and an abundant peach and blackberry crisp served with both sorbet and ice cream. We left concluding that CUT is among our top two or three restaurants in town.
Wonderful service, great food, in a fantastic setting. We will definitely go back to try more items from the menu! Highly recommended!

Bone-in NY was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten.....top shelf aged meat cooked perfectly. Pretzel rolls with mustard seed butter a 10. Service spot-on. Drink served and made the right way. Only knock was the potato side dish which was more cheese than potato.
Great food, ambiance and overall experience. Would highly recommend. The Filet and VA rockfish were both delicious. Will return soon!

Everyone was friendly, and knowledgeable about the food and wines. Service was impeccable. We ordered a little bit of everything. The meats were delicious, eggplant appetizer melted in our mouths like butter, patatas bravas was out-of-this world (pictured here), crab fried rice, leeks, chocolate soufflé was an experience. I don’t think there is anything on the menu that could disappoint us.
Food was excellent. Great but limited mocktail selection. Very unique food presentations. Highly recommended.
Great food and service (especially the excellent sommelier, Isaac). Music from the bar spilled over into the restaurant and was a bit loud and not necessarily fitting for the restaurant, but it was only a minor demerit in a fabulous dining experience.

Once again, CUT delivers. The food was amazing - the endive salad was on point as usual. My wife loved the new sweetcorn ravioli...amazing. I had 10oz of the Miyazaki Prefecture Wagyu again...cooked to perfection again...pure heaven again. The crab fried rice was great, and my wife's filet was cooked perfectly as well.
We have been to CUT DC many times over the past 6 months, and every time, they delivered a wonderful dining experience - from the staff to the food... It is our favorite restaurant in DC. Pink took care of us again today, and she was great - coursed out the night nicely. We got to meet the sommelier who was great and gave us some good advice and allowed us to try their new rosé. Oh, and the Basque cheesecake was great as usual.
Can't wait to come back again.
Everything was perfect. Pink, Isaac, Thomas, Gio, Abdel, and the whole staff were amazing. Food, drink, and service were top notch. Best meal I’ve ever had. A must-try.

Our meal was a mostly great, but not everything. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant setting was very pleasant for a romantic anniversary dinner.
The two appetizers were spectacular. The Hamachi (tart and peppery) and Sweet Corn Tortelloni (like sweet pasta popcorn) were exceptionally tasty. The steaks were both good and perfectly cooked, but not a standout for the price. The Chocolate 'Devils' Food' Layered Cake was just right - chocolaty without being overly sweet.
So what was the problem... the Patatas Bravas were actually bad...bad. Overcooked, oily and lacked taste. Ottoman Taverna does a similar dish in which the potatoes are fluffy and do not lose their taste. A bit of feta cheese based topping gives the potatoes a tart flavor.
One bad dish can actually ruin a meal, particularly when its paired with the main course. The potatoes are something that should be a slam dunk. Wish they had been.
We had dinner for my partner’s birthday at Cut and the staff made the evening very special for him! The food was SCRUMPTIOUS, service was EXCEPTIONAL, and the ambiance was ELEGANT, but FUN! Oh, and the cocktails were ZAH-ZAH!!!
The food and service were both excellent. We had the Miyazaki wagyu and it was delicious. We were celebrating an anniversary.
We had a nice time as always. The food is tasty and the service is great.
I just wish that guests of the hotel control their screaming children.

Didn’t know what to expect since first time dining at a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. Was gladly surprised at the taste of each dish and drink. Our waiter Juan was very kind and attentive, he entertained our questions and comments. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely recommend dining here, it is definitely worth its weight.

The food was great and surprisingly wasn’t crazy expensive. Service was very attentive. Was slightly disappointing they didn’t have a tasting menu but we made our own off the menu and it was good.
The service was slow and overall in-attentive for a restaurant at this level and in such posh surroundings. It is an interesting spin on steak-house concept with creative preparations and non-steak ingredients.
Excellent service and food. Drinks were delicious as well. All the steaks were cooked to perfection and the chocolate souffle topped off the meal.
The best dining experience we’ve had in a very long time. One word comes to mind when thinking of CUT: perfection! This restaurant sets the bar SO high for what an amazing experience should be.

Exceptional food and service but very pricey. Nestled in one of the best hotels in Georgetown on the canal. Cut should be a Michelin star restaurant.
