   Dean’s Italian Steakhouse was fabulous!! We were seated at our reserve time… and everyone at the restaurant was so nice and our waiter was great and very attentive. The food was soo good. We got the Waygu meatballs and the steakhouse salad for appetizers. The meatballs melt in your mouth and that bacon takes the salad to a whole other level. We got the bone in ribeye, the New York strip.. Oscar style, creamy spinach, Mac and cheese, and whipped potatoes…..and omg everything was awesome.. They also give you complimentary bread and butter that tasted great as well. We also had this sweet red wine.. I don’t remember the name of it, but the waiter recommended it, and again that tasted great too. Overall everything at Dean’s was fantastic from the service to the ambience to the food…five stars all around.

   We came here for my husbands birthday and had a wonderful time. Everything was great from the service to the food. I ordered the lobster rigatoni and it was soo delicious. There was plenty of lobster in it. I definitely had leftovers for the next day. We will definitely be back.

   It had been awhile since my husband and I went to Dean’s. When they first opened, I frequented the restaurant. Then we had two poor experiences back to back. I decided to give them another try on my birthday, and it was AMAZING! Jason is my favorite server. He’s so attentive and polite. He goes above and beyond for his customers. He even tried to get the chef to make a dish for me that wasn’t on the menu, but they were missing some of the ingredients and could not deliver. However, what I ordered was delectable. My husband and I shared a crab cake and wedge salad for appetizers. Hands down, this was the best crab cake I have ever had in my life, and I’m a crab cake connoisseur. We each ordered the branzino as our entree and creamed spinach (some of the best) and I can’t the truffle baked potato. I would come back to Dean’s weekly for this meal if I could. I absolutely love this place.

   Saturday brunch menu was limited; the name of their restaurant is deceiving. The only steak item on the menu in the brunch menu was the steak and eggs. We were celebrating a birthday and had requested for a birthday greeting/writing on the dessert plate, but they did not do it; while for another table, they even put a candle in the dessert plate.

   To begin, The host was unable to locate my reservation. I was then seated at a very small table which was compact and uncomfortable. I also requested a complimentary dessert for a milestone birthday celebration that I did not receive. I ordered a steak cooked medium and received rare. Lastly, I noticed my credit card was charged twice. Overall, a terrible experience as a first time guest.

    Last night was the first time in a long time where we have dined at a restaurant that hit all the marks. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Great drinks and great bartenders. Our server, Tyler, was absolutely outstanding. We will be back and will recommend to our friends.

    My wife and I visited Dean’s Italian Steakhouse last Sunday. What an amazing experience. Food was fantastic! What an explosion of flavor’s. If you desire fantastic service, ask for Wilson. Service was prompt, professional, and most importantly, Wilson pays attention to the details. By far, the best steak restaurant in Charlotte. And we have dine at all of the top steakhouses in the area. Wilson, we are coming back very soon.

    The entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. Food was prepared. Wonderfully came out quickly and hot. Our waiter was attentive, as well as the hostess when we arrived overall great space great location would definitely recommend.

    I ordered the spicy shrimp pasta dish and it literally came out in less than 5 minutes and the waiter Scott was surprised as well. I tasted it and the shrimp were room temperature and mushy. Scott asked for fresh shrimp while I waited 10 minutes and then the pasta was cold. I was over it and I was going to leave but then I thought, why didn’t Scott ask for his manager to fix it. So I asked for the manager and explained, he apologized and had them to remake the dish. I want offered anything while waiting out my inconvenience. Not the best 1st impression. My second time I tried Deans, the waiter was inappropriate. I shared that both myself and my friend were both none alcohol drinkers and we didn’t need a wine list. He kept asking during the course of the evening if we would like any cocktails. Toward the end of our experience, he then asked again and I said as I stated several times, we are not drinkers whatsoever. He then said well things can change and I told him that we had prior drinking issues so I hope for us that don’t change. No apologies just more sarcasm. I’m not sure if he was just having an off night but he was quite inappropriate several times. He also was way too common. I found it completely unprofessional.

    We decided to dine here after receiving a gift card for Christmas. We are so glad we choice this to celebrate Valentine’s Day early. Our waitperson was dynamic; she’s the best we have come upon in a long time. The food was great and the homemade rolls were out of this world! We’ll definitely go back to celebrate our next special occasion.

    Met up with two girlfriends on a Tuesday evening. Seated immediately upon arrival and we stayed for almost FOUR hours! Chris S. was extremely personable and attentive the entire time. Excellent service. Excellent food with amazing presentation. We will be back!

    We were hoping to have Bruce as our waiter, he took such incredible care of us last year when we celebrated our wedding anniversary there. Unfortunately, once there we were told he doesn’t work weekends. Although Bruce wasn’t there, we still enjoyed our anniversary dinner.
