Death by Tequila. We know, we know, muy oscuro. We don’t mean it literally, of course. After all, our vibe is all about passion, community and good times. As the saying goes, “los muertos al cajón y los vivos al fiestón” (the dead to the coffin and the living to the party). We’re so particular about great produce that we insist on growing our own at local heritage farm, Aschbrenner Acres. Small batches of special varieties you won’t find anywhere else. They may not be the easiest to grow, but they’re packed with flavor. Each day, we roll up our sleeves and get our hands in the dirt. We crunch into this, bite into that and pick only the plumpest, ripest, tastiest organic vegetables, gently seasoned by the ocean air.

WAY overpriced tacos for what you get. Service was very slow. If you sit outside be prepared for the ladies who don’t pay attention to their dogs while they’re bugging and begging other tables for food. Margarita was ok. Best thing we ordered was the tuna crudo. Don’t waste your money on the beans and rice. It’s like 13 cents worth of food.

Food was excellent. We sat outside, but we were virtually forgotten by our server. Our meal arrived before my margarita, and I had to ask the food runner to get my margarita. When I told our server I was almost done with my margarita, it took him 10 minutes to return and he argued with me that he set his timer for four minutes. I guess in his mind, the customer ISN’T always right. I’ll give them one more chance, but only because the food and drink were great.

I went on a double date with friends. It was our first time here and it didn’t disappoint! The drinks were great and unique. The food and portions on the protein in the taco were great!

We ordered The set of four salsas and all were delicious! I also enjoyed the poblano empanadas and the skinny margaritas. The only disappointing dish was the Mexican corn which really tasted like it came out of a can, and not fresh even though it is now in season. I would definitely not order that dish again- Poor value for the price!

The food in the past was very good, unfortunately the quality has fallen and it's not the same unique, high quality, food that it once provided. It's pretty standard, nothing stands out.

I love this restaurant and the food. But I made reservations for Monday and when I showed up the restaurant was closed. So this star is really reflecting that they should update OpenTable and only allow you to make reservations on days that they’re open.

The restaurant was closed and I never got notification that they closed early. It was Cinco de Mayo and hard to get a table at other filled up places. An email letting me know would have been appreciated. I have eaten there before and it was excellent food and service however.

The food is absolutely delicious, some of the best elevated Mexican cuisine we’ve ever had, and we’re from Arizona where the Mexican restaurants are plentiful. Would highly recommend the mushroom enchiladas with prawns!
