   Hello, we go here often and have always been on a Friday evening. We really enjoyed it because it’s normally quite mellow and fun to us enabling us to have a conversation while listening to some really great music in a unique and comfortable atmosphere. Last night the music was so loud we could barely have a conversation in the restaurant area. The food which is normally amazing was not up to par and the service only happened when we called them over. I’m sorry to write this, but I feel without mentioning the difference between going for five times and having a great experience and one time we having a not so great experience was quite significant. This is somewhere unique on the Gold Coast. Personally I love this place and was a bit disappointed last night.

   Good music but a bit too loud. Expected to hear Irish songs on St Patrick’s night which unfortunately has not happened. Either no Guinness or Kilkenny left, what a shame. Will choose another place next time

We advertised our event through Google & our social channels as we did have Irish music on during the day & we will review entertainment for next year. Re: Guinness & Kilkenny (which is normally fantastic!) the venue has been in a constant battle with the landlord & body corporate regarding the air conditioning units resulting in high temps that affected the pour & could not serve. Thankfully, there is resolution in sight!

   On our particular lunchtime visit (St. Patricks day) it was very hot with little or no air conditioning or fan relief - even the staff were having major trouble. This problem should be fixed as it detracts from the enkoyment of the venue and entertainment.

Unfortunately the venue has been in a constant battle with the landlord & body corporate for many months regarding the responsibility of the faulty air conditioning - during this time, we have purchased large fans, dehumidifiers & portable air conditioning units to try and alleviate these heat pressures as best as we can. Fortunately, it looks like there is resolution in sight! Fingers crossed 🤞 Thank you for your understanding & support.

   Overall our experience was amazing, table service was great and the staff were polite and courteous. The music was surprising and we were able to still have a table conversation even during their last set. As first time patrons we are keen to visit again, all my party had the same reviews. Thanks for keeping good music alive.

   Funky bar/restaurant/live music. The food was perfect, we had jambalaya and lamb shank... sooooo good, perfect size. Tailor-made blues band was playing, so cool. Eclectic mix of people. Absolutely recommend. Like a funky hideaway you'd find down a Melbourne Laneway... My only recommendation would be to help the waitresses be a little more confident to interact. Their service was great.

    It has potential to be an awsome venue, just not quite there yet. We were met by a gentleman at the front door who took us to our booked table and all we got from him was that we had to be out by 8.45pm as there was another booking. No pleasantries or guidance on how everything worked. The table waitresses were lovely but seemed very new to it all. My partner had the lamb shanks and loved them, I had the chicken which seemed slapped together. Music was fantastic and I loved the atmosphere and decor.

    Every time I visit Den Devine I have the best time. The free live music adds so much fun to the night. The food is always delicious. The staff are amazing and always suggest great cocktails for me to try :) I always recommend this venue to anyone looking for an awesome night out!

    Pros - I love the vibe of the restaurant, the seats are comfy, and the lighting and mood was on point. Cons - The service was slow and the staff kept forgetting to serve us and then take our order, followed by cutlery and delivering dessert in the middle of main meals.

    Daniel always welcomes us with a handshake. Booked for a few drinks at the bar followed by dinner. Great conversation and live music. The Rib eye was awesome once again. Partner had Peri Peri salad and loved it. Few beers served promptly and friendly service. Love this place!

    . We were not welcomed very well by the tall waiter who seated us then was very abrupt in asking for ID of my 26yr old twin sons! I realise it’s a necessity but his attitude was not welcoming. He then left us sat there and I had to go to the bar some 30mins later to ask if we ordered at the bar. The female waitress was much more charming. The food was ok and the entertainment was good but generally didn’t want to stay after the meal which was a shame as I love live music

    thank you Daniel and team for a lovely evening. Great welcoming committee, really set a good vibe. Loved the little NYE gifts on the table and the complimentary drink a classy gesture. The steaks ordered where cooked to perfection, as was the kebab platter. The garlic prawns, a touch too much garlic for the 3 of us, that said, we still finished the meal. The band was great and created a festive vibe, pity the music in the break wasn't more up beat to maintain the atmosphere the band had created, the vocals where somewhat muffled by the instruments, hence my raiting for the noise factor. We did struggle to get back into the vibe after the band break and ended up leaving to watch the fireworks. All in all, a great job and a lot of effort was made to ensure we had a great time. thank you

    Had a great night at Den Divine. The live music was fantastic and the food and drinks were great. The service from staff was excellent- very friendly and efficient. Particularly liked the happy and friendly crowd. No agro and eclectic group of people.

    This is my go to place for a great night out. The music never disappoints. The food is unique and delicious. I believe there must have been a management change because the service is not as polished as it used to be, but still worthwhile to visit.

We understand that we are also a restaurant, however sometimes the artists can become enthusiastic in response to crowds which can make conversations a little difficult at times.     The Food was very Good, drinks a little expensive. Music was very loud when the band was playing but over all a a great venue

Please note that many venues choose to keep their drink prices high even with the inclusion of gaming machines & big corporate money - we try our best to operate a successful but competitive venue that is unique to any other around 😊 You will also be pleased to know, we have recently installed a new sound system that produces a much more balanced sound.     Easy booking procedure. Friendly greeting on arrival. No waiting to be seated. Prompt friendly service. Awesome eye fillet meal. Bluesy music was great. Nice sound level. Nice lighting. Went back the next day of our holiday again and sat at the bar. Met cool people with interesting stories. All good!
