Food was really good! The service was good maybe understaffed but the staff that were on did a great job . The ambiance was nice and quiet. Will return !!!

Hidden gem in Fall River! Server Miguel was attentive and courteous, and the Chicken Mozambique was perfect-not too spicy. The hand cut fries were excellent and very tasty. Don't miss this place!

We were pleasantly surprised. From the time we walked in to leaving after our experience exceeded our expectations. We will be back for sure. The only critique would be that the bar service was slow. Thank you for a great time.

It was a slow day with only two other parties in the restaurant. The poor waitress was doing her best but there were some issues in the kitchen, and she appeared to be the only one working. Our food came out cold/warm and underwhelming for the price. I had Portuguese steak and the rice was overcooked. The calamari was the best dish flavor wise, but was also slightly rubbery and overcooked. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t phenomenal either.

Party of 3 had a 6:45 reservation. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar. Bartender was very attentive. Host came over and said our table was ready and we were seated. We were celebrating a birthday. Once we were seated the waiter came by and said he would return shortly. 30 min later he finally returned. We had no water, no drinks nothing. We finally got water and bread. I ordered a bottle of wine and was told they didnt have it, but I could have a different bottle of wine for the same price. We now have been sat for 45 min and still no food ordered. As we were about to leave the server came over and said they had call outs and he was overwhelmed. Meanwhile the manager was no help and was seating people and sitting at the end of the bar. He offered us a free shrimp Mozambique and took our order. We now have been seated for over an hour. Our food finally came out 30 min later. My steak was ordered medium rare.....it was overcooked. My friend was overcooked as well. Other friend got salmon and it was fine. I realize they were very very understaffed, however this poor server (Ricardo) got no help from the manager or food runner/busses. He bought out a piece of cheesecake for the birthday girl. At this point we had been there for over 3 hours. The bartender tried to help. I was very disappointed as this restaurant came highly recommended. I flew in from Tennessee to surprise my friend and we choose this restaurant. Very disappointed. Ricardo did the best he could and we did not reflect the poor service in his tip.

First visit for a late Sunday afternoon dinner. Only one other couple in the dining room so service was great. The two appetizers were good but only small portions and the Portuguese steak entrees were slightly above average.

We have always enjoyed dining here, and a big part of what made this restaurant so special was Eddie and Anderson. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and warm hospitality elevated the entire experience and created an upscale atmosphere that kept us coming back. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to learn that they are no longer here. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt noticeably different. The level of service lacked the attentiveness and polish we had come to expect, and the overall dining experience felt like a downgrade from what this restaurant once offered. We truly hope management recognizes the difference that exceptional staff make and works to restore the high standard that made this restaurant stand out.

The food was for the most part excellent. The steak was ordered med well but came back very well done. The salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious. The Chicken Mozambique was declared very good. The Bullit manhattans were perfectly made, the Sombrero not so much. Our waitress Mariah was a true professional. You can’t beat the Wed. special menu. All in all a lovely night out that won’t break the bank.
