   Trajeron junto con las sopas el steak y cuando tocaba traer el steak obvio estaba muy seco Pedimos una botella de vino y agua. Hubo que pedir el agua más de tres ocasiones

   Terrible, un restaurante de supuesta inspiración francesa trajo un plato que pedí con salsa bernesa solo con unos tomates salteados arriba, cuando pregunté me dijeron que la bernesa estaba arriba de la carne, o sea, los tomates. Luego me trajeron una supuesta salsa que era todo menos bernesa la cual devolvi, luego trajeron otro que era mas parecida a tartara y no dije nada más. El covid nos ha afectado a todos pero en lo poco que se haga hay que hacerlo con excelencia. Fue una experiencia decepcionante.

   The food and drinks were pretty good. It didn’t seem reasonable that we couldn’t sit in the patio. An explanation would have been nice.

   We had to move our table because it was too wobbly. The omelette was very dry and didn’t have much boursin in it. The service was very slow. Not a great experience since we had been there a couple of times before and it was very good!

   Great experience, first time having brunch here. No valet for brunch like there is for dinner but luckily I found a spot in the back of the building. Had a nice semi private table so my friend and I could catch up. Service was great, friendly and accommodating. Food came out timely and was very good. Highly recommend for brunch or dinner.

    I was excited to try Dovecote as I heard a lot about it. I went for a work lunch with out of town colleagues. The entire experience was bad. The food was so/so- Apps were served without plates. We ordered truffle fries instead of the regular with our lunches, which includes an upcharge- no problem. However, the food was delivered with regular fries. We mentioned to the server, and she vaguely apologized and then stood there. She did not offer to bring out more, and she didn't even remove the upcharge on our bill. The server was unfortunately the worst part of it all. She splashed sweet tea on 2 of our purses, and just glanced down at the mistake with no apology. After our food was delivered, she came by one time. I asked for Ranch, and she scoffed at me because this "is a French restaurant" and we don't have it. I hear you, but you're a so/so restaurant in the lobby of an office building- not a 5 star French restaurant experience. She never once refilled our drinks. She walked by our table to check on others, and looked at me holding an empty glass but did absolutely nothing. I will definitely never return and I'm bummed that I recommended this placed to my coworkers. There are so many better places to eat in downtown Orlando.

    This was our first visit to DoveCote but it definitely won't be our last! We had a party of 12 and Tiffany handled us extremely well. Benefit of a large party was we ordered several different entrees ALL of which were amazing. Rabbit, catch of the day, lamb shank, ribs, steak. Everyone was very pleased and satisfied, all 12 of us!

    We enjoyed the relaxed pace. Food was beautifully served and delicious. Sky was our server. She was fantastic and explained the specials in detail.

    The food was ok could have been better. Salmon was kind of cold but seasoned right . The drinks were okay. We had a good time though, I would definitely come back here again.

    Went for the Valentines Menu. Worst food experience we have ever had. The steak has no flavor other than what I would say is a bitter taste. The potatoes were raw and had not been cooked nearly Enough as they still Had the raw taste. Once again no seasoning at all. We saw multiple Steaks going out then being returned. This was a very small menu so the meal should have been on point. The table that sat down next to Us was getting amazing service by the owner. When we overhead that we thought we would let him know And he needed to try what was coming off the line. We told him we were not looking for a refund as we know the cost of doing business. He was apologetic but did not even offer to buy our drinks or a round. My spouse went to bathroom and others were complaining about their food in there. Maybe a bad night for them but do not suggest unless they have a major kitchen change as if I was the owner who ever was leading the kitchen needs to be fired as you potentially just set your company up for a massive storm Of bad reviews

    Beautiful restaurant! The service was very well timed and relaxed. The DJ played all the best Valentine’s songs. We had the New York strip and crusted salmon and both were perfect. The oyster soup was so good. The waitress made great wine selection and we also topped the meal off with espresso martinis.

    We couldn’t have picked a better location for a Valentine’s Day dinner. The three-course fixed-price menu was a good value and had a range of options, plus we were able to pair our drink selections perfectly thanks to the extensive wine list and cocktail menu. Service was attentive and gracious, even with every table full. The ambiance was sophisticated but relaxed - perfect for a special occasion.

    Something was off this time. Almost looked like they were short staffed, but the service was good. The salmon was a little dry, but only mentioning because I've been here before and EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection. I think they just had an off day. I'd definitely go back.

    Brunch date. Disappointing service…very very slow and poor quality. Initial order for coffee took 30th d to arrive, wait staff forgot alcoholic beverage order. Food took a long time to arrive and was mediocre by Dovecote standards, hit but not greatest presentation. Disappointed as this was a date and I eat or dr k here at least once a week. 🙁

    Two sections for dining…one completely for white clientele and another one for other race such as Latinos and African Americans. I asked why we were not seated on the main area, and the answer was those people have reservations –and we had reservations as well! Coming from a bigger city to this restaurant, I felt we stepped back in time big time. Be careful if you want a sophisticated cultured atmosphere.

    Valet parking was ready to go when we arrived. Shown right in to our table even though we were 15 minutes early on a show night. Smoked Old Fashioned and Raul cocktails were top notch. Bacon wrapped scallops and onion soup were sublime. Extremely generous swordfish portion; perfectly prepared and well-balanced by the Brussel sprouts fried in duck fat (amazing on their own…). Beer brazed rabbit was a great find on this menu. Very intimate but a tad noisy. Having servers who could be a bit more descriptive than “it’s really good” and menus that aren’t laminated would add a lot to the ambiance. Overall great experience; definitely recommend for a meal before or after a show at Dr Phillips.

    Server offered extra bread but didn’t mention it would be a charge. Bread came 20 mins later for a dip that he already removed from the table. Steak and eggs really dry. Apps were good though.

    Wanted to try someplace new and DoveCote sounded like a great place to celebrate our anniversary. Tables are way, way too close together. Uncomfortably close. Door going to outside seating is absolutely filthy. Dirtier than a door at a local car repair shop. These were our first two impressions. Salad was ok. Onion soup was very tasty. My entree was Coq Au Vin which should be standard fare for any French inspired restaurant. It was ok but I would have never quested it was Coq Au Vin. Tiffany was our server and she was pleasant but over-seated. One and done for us. Should have driven a little further and gone to Le Coq Au Vin. Lesson learned.

    Server was very friendly. I had a basic eggs bacon and potatoes. The food came out room temperature eggs were overcooked along with everything else. My son ordered the Mari Gras pancakes they were thin overcooked with no flavor. The blueberry mojito tasted like cough syrup. Overly priced and under satisfied.

    I really liked the aesthetic. It was a wonderful combo of antique and modern with a fairly quiet dining area. The food was a little heavy in the salt but my filet was cooked to perfection, I barely needed a knife. The server was very well spoken and kind. Overall a great experience!
