                                                                                                                                    I was looking forward to this meal based on talking with others that had been here. We went for our 20th Anniversary dinner. they did a good job of congratulating us and the bar staff was great. When we sat down for dinner though, everything changed. The appetizer charcuterie and cheese board was mediocre at best. we waited nearly 30 minutes after they cleared our appetizer for salads to arrive, which was ok, because we were just talking and enjoying the night and not in a hurry. but then as we are taking our first bite of salad, our dinners arrived. nothing ruins a good meal like watching an expensive dinner cool as you try to enjoy your salad. a meek apology, but no offer to correct anything was given. when we finally got to our luke warm meals, they were well below expectations. the sea bass was overcooked and thin and the bison ribeye was charred on the outside and rare on the inside when ordered medium rare plus. the cut was so fatty and tough that I barely ate a few bites. The waiter knew we were upset and instead of providing extra service and trying to salvage an enjoyable experience, he vanished and ignored us completely. For a meal I was looking forward to, I'm not sure I have been more disappointed. Expensive prices but didn't meet expectations. Will go back to Jags and Jeff Ruby's.

                                                                                                                                    The dinner started at the bar while we waited on our table. Two drinks, $70 + tip. We get our table, look at the menu, order a bottle of wine and an appetizer. So far so good. Then we wait, and wait. Finally order dinner and realize our waitress was directed by the “manager”, and I use that term loosely, to handle a large party in another room. We see two couples come, eat, and leave before we got our main course. For the piece de re sis tance, this much needed night out after surgery and being couped up for two years due to COVID was met with not accepting a gift card we had. An Eddie Merlots gift card purchased at this SAME store mind you. Both we, and the manager agreed that the value on the card was correct, but they couldn’t process the card because it was old. How convenient for them. This “manager” couldn’t figure out how to resolve except to charge via my credit card and make me work out the issue with their corporate. Me, not her. Which one of do you think in a better position to work with their corporate? So, poor service, prices through the roof for average food, and a complete lack of focus on customer satisfaction. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

                                                                                                                                    We left after 1h 45 mins still waiting for the kitchen to catch up. Bread to make it worse arrived 30 mins after the start despite most gentil call. Disaster. We paid our drinks though the wine was supposed to enjoy with the filet mignon that never arrive. They reimbursed the appetizers. That we appreciate. Otherwise nobody seems accountable for the customers with finger pointing at the kitchen, the water serving waiter or the manager more interested in challenging the customer. What was supposed to be a nice dinner celebration for graduation and Mother’s Day ended up with pick up at Wendy’s round the corner.

It took 20 minutes to get salads that we sent back due to disgusting preparation. It took another HOUR to get the main entrees. My wife’s steak was l supposed to be cooked medium rare but it was burnt and my food was lukewarm. We sent the food back. During this time, the waitress mostly ignored us.

The food was amazing and service was great and fast. I recommend the calamari and the chocolate brownie desert that they basically make in front of you. I tried a Bison ribeye for the first time and that was great as well.

The server wasn’t attentive or nice. The other tables, with different servers, seemed to be getting better service. So I think we just got unlucky.

                                                                                                                                    Stuffed in crowded tables that blocked entranceways. This set up would not have passed fire code. You had to push past diners to get buffet access. The buffet had warm shrimp cocktail, missing dishes listed and severs complaining about the long hours they have worked and will need to work in the PM. The server tried to bill my kids at adult pricing and failed to disclosed items not included in the buffet offering. The server lost a $50 gift card between our table and processing. I will never go back. It made for a horrible Mother’s Day.

                                                                                                                                    Would have received 5 stars across the board except for our server (Lauren) copped an attitude when I asked her for an adjustment on our bill. We had a group of seven and she billed me for 8. Screwed up our drink order when billed as well. I was very nice when discussing and she just didn't want to deal with it. About a $100 swing on the total. First bad experience ever at this establishment with a server.

                                                                                                                                    My wife ordered a salad for first course, then we ordered dinner and the entree she wanted came with a salad (chefs fav, filet delivered mar). The menu did not state that it automatically came with a salad. She didn’t want two salads. The waitress said there were no substitutions and suggested we get a second salad to go. Then she said she’d take care of it. She didn’t. In the end, we got one salad and paid for it, so we never got a side with my wife’s Chefs Favs, filet Del Mar. you should either state on the menu that it comes with a salad or accept substitutions.

We were never asked how our food was which was a red flag. Steaks were over done and one was burnt. They offered free dessert to make up for it but $700 for a table for five was a really bad . Suggest you avoid this place. Waiter said they are short staffed and cannot find people.

The hostess was attentive and took us to our seat. We ordered the filet mignon medium rare with a side of Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly. It was so tender and the seasoning was delicious. The Mac and cheeses was delicious too. As well as the mashed potatoes. Server was great and attentive as well. Definitely will be coming back.

David is the “man”!! The only thing was the noise level was a bit crazy but it was a very busy full night for them. The sea bass was from another world. Highly recommend.
